I love to crochet but also have carpal tunnel. I ordered this set in hopes that it would provide added comfort over my all metal hooks. These are great! They are comfortable and work great. They are labeled with US sizes and mm on them which many other sets had review complaints about. I love that it comes with the bag, stitch markers and yarn needles too. Definitely a great purchase for me!
Update: As I continue to work with these the silicone grips keep sliding off and after making the octopus pictured the US size printed on the silicone had worn off, I will write it in with sharpie. The mm is imprinted on the otherside so that will not wear off luckily.
I bought this set because it included 14 hooks opposed to 12 that most sets contained. I wanted a size "N" and it came with this set. I have used 4 different sizes and have found the rubber handles to be smooth, comfortable and well adhered. The shafts are smooth allowing the yarn to easily slide up and down and the heads are pointed which helps get into smaller, tighter stitches. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend.
I don't have much I dislike about the hooks. The grips are much more comfortable than the regular aluminum hooks.
The labels on the hooks have started to rub off after a few days of owning them but they're ingraved on the opposite side so that's a plus.
The zipper case is a nice bonus too. I don't have to worry about losing a hook or my needles.
Just recently returned to crocheting (after an absence of at least 35 years!). It's very rewarding to be able to make your own stuff. Yes, it's easier to just go and buy it, but there's something about homemade gifts, for others and for yourself, that are just that much nicer. Even if the scarf is a little wonky, it's made with love.
I had purchased some inexpensive metals hooks and used that, but after watching some videos on future projects, I decided to invest in these ergonomic crochet hooks. Wow, they really make a different. I'm not old but age doesn't matter, your hands get tired after a while. But much less so with these comfy hooks. I love that they included a large variety of sizes, and especially the larger hooks. I discovered I like working with bulky or super bulky yard as it makes the project go by much faster. These hooks are comfortable and smooth. I also appreciate the small carry case to keep everything in its place. Would really recommend!
I received these this evening and sat down to give them a try. I am teaching myself to crochet and while I don't know a lot about hooks, I knew the ones I had been using were not working with my arthritic hands. I worked with these for several hours. The ergonomic grip on these hooks made it much easier to hold on to and I experienced no cramping in my hands. So far I am very happy with this set, the colors are cheery and fun and they seem to be a great value for the $.

Love everything about these items- minus one small issue. When using the hooks for a long period of time , you will notice little tiny dusting of plastic. Not exactly balled up or damaging to the item or your self. More a wear down issue. It doesn’t stop me from using these hooks or to recommend them to others. They are sturdy. The case is cute. Love the colors of the hooks too. Aside from the rubbing / wearing issue. I recommend.
Would be nice if the metal hook portion were a little longer, the handle portion fits nicely within my hand.
I really like this kit. A great value! The hooks feel very nice. They are comfortable and so far, sturdy. The case of needles is a great bonus. The measuring tape is a little flimsy, but I carry this kit in my travel-project bag, so it does the job.
I bought this for my mother. She is in love with the whole set. The hooks are easy to hold in her hands. The stitch counters are easy to use. Overall I am very happy with this set.
