WhisperKOOL® Platinum Split System 4000 Wine Cellar Cooling Unit (up to 1,000 cu ft)

I have owned a WhisperKOOL 7000 split system for the past three years. My wine collection is about 1500 bottles. The cellar has maintained a consistant 55 degrees all the time. I imagine the cooling unit could cool a much larger cellar than mine considering that it runs less than 50% of the time. Noise is not a factor as the evaporator unit in my cellar is very quiet, the condenser is outside in the side yard. The only thing i would change is the installation location. I should have mounted the evaporator above the doorway so it would not be seen. other than that, i am very satisfied with this product.

The Platinum Split sets the new standard for in-cellar split systems. The system continues to use our liquid bottle probe for monitoring the actual temperature of the wine to ensure the wine is being kept at 55°F. WhisperKOOL Platinum Split 4000 Cooling Unit (P/N Platinum Split 4000). WhisperKOOL's Platinum Split 4000 system cools up to 1000 cubic feet with the compressor located in a remote location (up to 100 line feet away), in a choice of configurations as follows:

1. Evaporator wall-mounted inside the cellar,
2. Evaporator ducted from a remote location
3. Evaporator ducted from a remote location, and a water-cooled condensing unit
