If your thinking about this lock, its awesome. Setting it up is easy, however if you are going to setup the Bluetooth on multiple phones under multiple accounts, you need to let it rest for a bit between setups (I don't know why, maybe its processing just like when I reset my router it takes 3 min to see the signal again) . anyway after you set it up on one phone and test that it works, power off that phone or turn off Bluetooth and wait 5min (a real five min, time it) then set up the 2nd phone. if you try to set them up right after eachother you can expect a headache and you might even think its defective. its not. just give it 5 min before programing the next number.
Intstall was a piece of cake. fits any normal door knob hole.

It is awesome! Installation and programming was simple too. Working great so far. Will update if I run into any problem.

I'm all about smart connectivity. I run a small photo and production studio / agency and we recently built out the new office and studio. It took me a few weeks of on and off research, trying to find the best smart door lock for our scenario. Number #1 priority was obviously functionality, but a close second was design and ease of use. I took a chance buying this based on all the good *and* bad reviews. I ended up buying the matte black with bronze edging color option. It is beautiful. I have now had the lock for about 2 months and absolutely love it. It easily connects to the app via bluetooth, but I almost never even need to use the app. All of my functions are easily accessible within the door lock menu system. I've been able to add all of my employee's fingerprints and pin codes without any issues. The finger print reader is no iPhone Touch ID--but it is very close. A firm press to the scanner will get you in the door within 1 second. I can create up to 99 users with easy ability to create multiple admins. My landlord in our office building actually ended up changing all of the building locks to this system because it works so well. He knows who has access and who doesn't. It's totally reliable, and if all else fails, there is a hidden key hole option if for some reason the electronics were to fail. Biggest pro? It looks amazing with my custom mahogany doors :)

Anyone that comes into my office, especially clients, are always so impressed to see the technology. Smart locks are the future :)

The next step is getting the wifi bridge that is in development. That will be the dream setup! Can't wait to see what other products ultraloq comes up with and continues to improve.

My one request is that Ultraloq start to partner with other companies to integrate their product/software with alarm systems. I think a partnership with Simplisafe Security would be ideal. They seem to have similar values and a great customer support system. The ultimate setup would be the ability to have my ultraloq connected with my alarm system.

Installed this in the front door of the house I'm renting. Wanted something that would be easier than keys, but more importantly, not require any physical modifications to a non-deadbolt equipped front door. Despite the cons, I overall really like this lock and consider it a worthy upgrade from older "dumb" locks, I'd consider buying more for other doors. I also purchased the wifi "bridge" connector from the mfg, but haven't received it yet.

Pros:
-Very easy to install, drop-in replacement for most door handles
-Feels smoother and more solid than older door knob
-Fingerprint reader has been very consistent in outward facing door (tested in temps 10F-40F)
-Easy to setup multiple users (and multiple fingerprints)

Cons:
-More of 2-in-1 (fingerprint and PIN), since android app works but isn't really dependable or much of a time saver (applies to smartphone and shake unlocking)
-no easy way to keep unlocked, you have to use the admin menu any time you want to keep it unlocked via "passage" mode (a switch on the backside would've been convenient)
-key access is more of an emergency "dead battery" backup, it's barely accessible and requires prying the plastic protector off underneath the unit

This lock is AWESOME. I have had it for a solid year and have not had any problems with it. I use it several times a day and have only had to change the batteries once. I have not tried the Bluetooth feature yet, nor have I had to use the number code. I have only used the fingerprint to open the lock and it works flawlessly. I never would have thought it would work as good as it does - it has exceeded my expectations. The only thing you have to do is make sure your finger is free of dirt, etc. I just noticed that they have a new model out that looks really cool. It's lower profile which looks nicer. I would not hesitate to buy any of their products based on my experience with my UL3 BT.

Description

I have owned this lock for almost 2 years I love the ease of use for this lock. It was fairley simple to install but it has made us take it for granted! we no longer carry house keys. My kids haver thier own personell code plus my oldest has her thumb print. My youngest daughter was not old enough to keep her tiny thumb still to do it so she just has a code. Its easy to program it is easy to add your code the finger print is easy enough but if you have a cut or your hands are dirty it wont read you fingerprint. This is not a dead bolt! but it has made it so easy for guests I can set them with a temporary code so they can assess the house without giving them a key. When we went on a trip and had the neighbor come and check on the pets he was able to get in using the key. That was the first time I had every used it and it took me a minute to figure out where it goes. There is a weather seal on the bottom that needs to be fliped open then you may insert the key. He commented it was a proccess for the first time but then he figured it out and hand no other problems he watched the house for 13 days and went in twice daily.
I only wish it was able to connect to wifi. so i may utilize it in a smart home desing i plan on doing.

I have been using this lock for a few months. And so far this has been an amazing lock. My 8 year old and 12 year old actually fight over who's opening the door. Each gets a code of their choosing and back up fingerprints. Of course the master user and 4th the wife. The newer of the apps work flawlessly. It's only bluetooth out of the box but they sell a bridge that makes it a wifi compatible from smartphones. Installation was super east. The lock faces West on side door and is exposed to most weather conditions. The kid's (major users) have expressed zero complaints despite using it 5 days a week for 8 weeks. Love how it immediately locks after jus a few seconds. The door is locked by the time it closes. No more complaining about who forgot to lock the door. Plan on getting the L1 setup for the front door.

This is absolutely an awesome lock with many features.
Installation was quick and the instruction provided in the package were helpful too.
About features, fingerprint unlocking is the most useful feature, followed by keypad, which works great too. I haven’t had a chance to try out a lot of features but will get to it. For third-party access, you can actually create a code and send it someone, can access the door entry by entering the code. Overall, we are very happy with the lock and its features. BTW, the lock does look bulky and seems solid, good product for sure.
A lot of pro’s and none cons’ although I do feel it’s bit expansive. But price does justify the quality and features of the lock so go for it.

I love this lock. It is so helpul and easy to use. At first I thought that it would not be safe. That someone could just use a credit card and open the lock, then I realized the handle is just like my office door. It moves but wont open the door unless triggered. My kids love the lock as they always loose their keys...myself as well lol. The ony issue weve had was the fingerprint reader sometimes doesnt read but that only because my kids never wipe it clean first. Also the log, and thats because it has to be on bluetooth and near your device to download, update, etc. However I am aware that Ultraloq sells a bridge that allows you to use wifi and the app it creates a remote access. All in all I would give this lock 9/10 but with the bridge it will definately be a 10/10.

I was so excitied getting this lock. I pick this Bluetooth over the non- bluetooth. The finger print and passcode work well but the bluetooth figure that allows you to just knock on your phone 4 times and the door will open, doesn’t work as being said. I’m only able to do that if I’m on my phone, log on their app and knock on the phone. If you just just come to the door with you phone idle and knock the phone, nothing will happen. (Or at least in my case). That doesn’t make it easier to unlock the door at all. So the bluetooth actually is not really useful. I still like the lock for other functions. The design is nice. The quality is good and it makes my life easilier.
