I love love love this washer!! We have a pipe busted in our apartment so we can’t have a normal washer. So we put this one in our bathroom and have the gravity drain tube in the tub!! Works amazing! And the spin dryer actually gets stuff really dry! I’m in love
This is probably one of the best purchases I've ever made. I just moved into a place that didn't have a washer/dryer hook up and I went for this product based on the reviews here. It works incredibly well for what it is and it's very easy to use. It was smaller than I expected unlike most people on here. It was the size of a large laundry hamper. A great size. It fit perfectly right by my shower and sink in the bathroom. I plugged it in, held the tube up to the sink faucet with my hand (took less than 2 minutes to fill up with whatever temperature you choose. I recommend not using super hot water as the machine is mostly made of plastic.), put my clothes in, detergent, and it took 15 minutes to wash and drained into my shower. I then filled it up again and did a 15 minute rinse cycle without detergent and drained again. Yes, it uses gravity to drain, but the tube can be elevated to drain. Then I put a few garments into the spin cycle side with the plastic cover which only took 5 minutes and everything in there was pretty much dry on the first go! I was so impressed! It seems this little engine that could doesn't need much water or power. One recommendation I would say, yes the motor is very strong and can handle your clothes, but be sparingly on heavy loads. I put in a big towel, jeans, sweats, and two shirts and it seemed like it was doing the best it could, but I felt like I over did it with that load. This machine works perfect for underwear, socks, shirts, and smaller lightweight garments and can handle bigger things like towels, jeans, and probably sheets, but I would just be nice to it and not over work it so the motor will last a good while. Do multiple loads if needed. I couldn't highly recommend this lil guy more!
I love this little washer. I do not now how long it will last but I have already done over a dozen mini loads in the past week. I use my hand held shower sprayer to fill it, the filling hose didn't work for me but the sprayer works well and it also helps me tremendously when rinsing out the soap residue between wash and rinse cycles. I had to use a little trial and error to figure out how to use the washer. It didn't come with any instructions but I did find a user video on line that seems like it's accurate. I also didn't know how much detergent to use and how long to wring clothes so that they didn't come out super dry and very wrinkled.. Yes, it wrings the clothes dry that well! But I think I've gotten the hang of it now. Its perfect for this one person household at least for summer weight clothing. I sit it on an elevated pedestal (a fitness step about 4-5 inches high) in my shower when I'm using it. This keeps the unit from sitting in the drain water and allows the drain hose to drain well. I run the electric cord up over the shower stall door and connect it to a heavy duty three prong extension cord. That way there is no risk of the cord getting wet. I don't know how this perform with heavier weight winter clothes but for now I'm happy with this mini washer!
I got a defective unit. I informed the seller. The seller sent a free replacement unit. Things are working great now. Super customer service.

Answer: We understand you are worried about how much noise it would make and might bother your neighbours. Note it is NOT LOUD AT ALL. Just do not put too much in the spinner to make it off balance.

Answer: Absolutely! It can handle 8-9 lbs. You can wash 5 to 6 shirts and pants. Or numerous smaller articles. 4-6 pairs of jeans would be no problem.

Don't expect it to perform, overall, like a full size washer, because it isn't. But it does wash clothes and bedding well (the agitation function works very well), and gets them clean. Just make sure you don't overload it, and fill it with enough water per load, so it can do its job.
Too bad the container for spinning the water out of your laundry is smaller than the container for washing, which means you have to leave some of your sopping wet laundry in the washer side, while you spin what can fit into the side that spins off the water. Then do the same for your remaining (wet) laundry,
The water intake hose that's included probably won't fit your faucets. As with many others, it didn't fit mine either, so I have to fill it by hand, using a bucket or pots full of water.
If you have a hand-held shower attachment and a bathtub, that will probably work well, but I don't.
It will smell like plastic when you first get it, as others have commented. I put a combo of water and white vinegar in the first wash, and that helped, as well as letting it air out for the first 24 hours.
If you're washing towels, clothes, or, anything that is likely to have a lot of lint in it, for the first time, I advise you first use a full size washer so the lint can drain out well. The washing tub isn't big enough, and doesn't allow for enough water, for this to happen.
These are the things I'd have liked to have known before making the purchase, but I have to say that even so, it really is a great little washing machine, and I'm quite happy with it.
We got this on July 1 of 2018 and used it almost daily for the first week and quite often (about 3 times a week) every week since.
It does take a bit of a learning curve but, once you've got it it is pretty incredible for a small unit.
We put it on a small table in the kitchen and have a large bucket beside the table for the drain. (Not the most aesthetic looking yet, what we have to deal with at this time.) To fill it, we just fill a watering can and pour it in. We don't have any way to fill with the holes on the sides so, this works well for us.
The biggest thing I've washed so far is a winter bathrobe. Not something that can be spun but, everything else I've washed I've spun, often in 2-3 batches for each load. (tip) The load has to be balanced or the thing rock and rolls like crazy including off the table. Just readjust the contents and be sure to use the plastic
(tip) Use a minimal amount of detergent or you'll have a load of suds you can't get rid of.
(tip) Figure out a routine so it takes less time and energy. We refill the watering can as soon as it's empty so we're ready for every load. Usually, use two cans which just about fills the bucket when it drains. While it's draining, I'm refilling the watering can and putting the first load into the spinner.
(tip) Our plants are blooming even here in very hot SoCal because they get the grey water.
(tip) Be sure to turn off the drain before adding water to the washer.
(tip) We've personally never used the full time on the machine. 3-6 minutes on the wash; 1-2 minutes to spin.
(tip) If, like me, you hand-wash, remember to use the spinner to shorten drying time. Currently, it takes very little time to dry outdoors.
Is it a bit of work? yes! But once you get a routine going, not as time-consuming as it might be.
Sure beats sitting in a laundromat and I can get a couple of loads in before I begin my day!
I live in an apartment without washer/dryer hookups and have been hauling laundry for several years. I finally decided to give a portable washer a try. Delivery was fast and the packaging was great. The product is not very heavy. I can lift it very easily. The directions are a bit lacking for my opinion. At first I was disappointed when I tried to use it because it would not agitate. I read online about adjusting the screws and bolts on the bottom since they sometimes get jostled around during delivery. I brought the washer into my kitchen and adjusted screws and the machine worked. I took it back to my bathroom and again it didn't work. My husband suggested I try a different plug since the one I was using may not of had enough voltage. I switched plugs and the machine worked fine. I washed a small load the first time because I wasn't sure how much to put in there and there isn't a water fill line. I assume there isn't a fill line because it depends on the amount of clothes you wash at a time, but I would like a maximum water fill line but that is just a personal preference. The machine washed the clothes well. Now, the spin dryer... I absolutely love it because it nearly dries the clothes. When I had washed at home by hand I had clothes hanging and dripping water all over the place, not to mention they took a day or more to dry completely. I really didn't expect the spin dryer to get as much water out as it did. It literally almost dried my clothes completely in 3 minutes. Not as much can fit into the spin dryer as I washed, or at least I didn't feel comfortable doing so. In one load I was able to put an adult large pair of jogging pants, a pair of dockers, several t-shirts, and a couple of undergarments. I dried the jogging pants and dockers together and the rest together. My second load of clothes I had a bath towel, three large t-shirts, three large shorts, and a couple undergarments. I didn't know how the bath towel would do but it did well also. I have only completed a few loads so I'm still learning but I am happy with the results so far. I will update after I use it for a little while.
Disliked the lack of connection hose n it not reaching the portable washer, so I went to search for the portable faucet hose/sprayer, ~no such luck!
Went to Lowes n askes a couple guys n this is what they suggested, so find a matchable connect to ur faucet n mine happenes to be my bathroom sink, n also bought a 6 ft garden hose,
TL price $16 for 1-double faucet connector n 6ft garden hose.
perfect perfect perfect!!! Doing laundry was so much easier n now Im a happy person!
AMOUNT OF SOAP- u really only need
1-2 Tablespoon of liquid soap n 2-3 Tablespoons of liquid softener to final rinse.
