I have tried SO many different cat foods but my Chompy always developsedacute vomiting and refuses to eat when I attempt to switch him from blue buffalo. Vet said it was probably due to the new food. He either really didn't like it, or he had a food sensitivity. Now keep in mind this is the cat that will steal directly off your plate if you let him! I've tried grain free, potato free, high protein, salmon, chicken, turkey, trout, super expensive, highly rated, dry food, wet food...I even tried some super cheap brand from Walmart!! Vomiting. I wanted him off blue buffalo mainly due to ingredients and previous labeling problems so again, I started my search for a new cat food. After extensive research on countless blogs I still wasn't very happy with my options and my opinions of blue buffalo continued to plummet. One day amazon decided to throw solid gold cat food in my recommendations. I had never heard of it so I did some research into the company, ingredients and previous reviews. I ordered a bag and Chompy didn't throw up when i began the switch!! We are a few days away from 100% solid gold food. I can tell he is more loving, higher energy, and his coat is very shiny. For the record, my other cats appear very happy with the new food as well. Thank you solid gold!!!
My 3-year-old cat has always ate Solid Gold products. When they finally released a formula specifically for indoor cats, I definitely had to give it a try. I started out mixing it 50/50 with her previous formula from Solid Gold (Katz-N-Flocken) for the first bag. She's now completely on Let's Stay In by Solid Gold and on bag #3. I was concerned about the size of the kibble, because it's significantly smaller than the Katz-N-Flocken formula... but I haven't noticed any issues! My cat has luscious, long fur and occasionally had hairball problems, but since switching to this formula, we haven't had A SINGLE hairball. Brilliant!
I am so happy to find this formula from Solid Gold! I already use Indigo Moon and have for years, but I wanted to blend another kibble to give my two rescues a variety. I tried several other brands and My Izzy just flat out didn't like them (natural balance, blue buffalo, Instinct, Only Natural Pet.) Then I came across Solid Gold Let's Stay Indoor formula and Miss Izzy approved! Hallelujah!!! I'm pleased that we are staying with the Solid Gold line of cat food. I have trusted and used their cat food for over 5 years. Importantly my Mouse and Izzy are happy!
My cats love this kibble. The first time I gave it to them, they both stopped in the middle of eating it and looked at each other, as if to say, "This is excellent," and then resumed eating. I've tried other varieties of this brand and they ate it, but they still seem most interested in this flavor. I like the psychedelic packaging.
My Maine Coon historically has refused to eat any single brand and/or flavor of food for longer than a week. First he likes chicken, then he only eats fish. One week he likes sweet potatoes and the next it has to be rice. I would buy the smallest bag available and he'd begin to ignore his food bowl after a few days. Oh, he'd eventually eat it (but only at night when the humans couldn't witness his acquiescence), but he very definitely sulked about it. We'd stick it out to the bottom of the bag and start the cycle all over again with a new brand and flavor. A couple years down the road I discovered Purina Pro Plan True Nature and he loved that - was consistently happy for dinner time and would chow down. But that brand had some ingredients I didn't like feeding him, so after a couple years we switched him to Solid Gold Indoor. It wasn't the smoothest of changes... my fault, I didn't have enough of the old food to do a proper transition. But it's been four months now and my kitty is still enthusiastic about dinner and I feel better about what I'm feeding him! We're converts for as long as he'll eat it!

My cats like this stuff. Definitely a step up from letting them dig through the local Piggly Wiggly dumpsters, and way less nose hair curling cat farts. Will buy again.
Not sure why the ingredients aren't included on the page, but just got this and so far, my cats seem to like it. Will update if I notice any changes for better or worse.
Unfortunately, my cats have gained a ton of weight being on this food. I am now mixing it with another brand of low-calorie food.
My cats absolutely love this dry food. They go crazy every time a bag of it comes in the mail! I've found so many times that my cats dislike the expensive, grain-free dry food options and I am ecstatic that I've found something grain-free and holistic that they love. I do not like feeding my cats cheap supermarket foods so I've spent years trying different brands of high-end expensive foods and this is the first one I've found that they don't get sick of almost immediately. My little trio of boys give this food 3 paws up!
My cats love this! Unfortunately i have an obese cat and had to change over to the high fiber one which they still love but not as much as this high protein one. I fed them this once a week and they just go nuts! I also have a canister in my car for when i find strays in the streets, never met a cat that didn't go crazy over this feed! Great health feed!
