These PVC rubber pin backs are totally awesome!! I have a bunch of hat pins that had the metal pin backs, which were painful when I bumped my head. Plus, the metal pin back do not hold my pins in place. They kept on turning side to side. I'm sure glad I found these PVC pin backs here on Amazon!! I just got them in the mail today, and what a difference they make!! All of my pins stay in place, plus they are soft. I initially did a search on Google for PVC pin backs. I found one company that was charging 60 cents each, plus an additional $8.99 for shipping!! Outrageous!! I'm sure glad I found them here on Amazon. You can't beat the price and quality!! And they even come in a nice plastic case with a cover that latches in place!!
I purchased these to replace a lost pin back but they hold tighter than the originals, so I replaced my remaining pin backs with these. If you're losing pin backs, these are a good option for replacements. Also, the little case is unnecessary, but nice.
No more "Damn it" moments. Cheap, reliable, durable, and affordable enough to stock up on a few hundred. Can't make them any better.
This is what you need if you wear lapel pins on the reg. Throw away the stupid metal backs that don't grip and replace them all with these rubber backs that won't fall off, leaving your pin lost on the ground somewhere. They have great grip, and don't loosen with time. Plus, they're a great value.
They work great, tight fit though. I suspect they may loosen a bit over time. Always have to twist them while pulling to get them off. Did not have to "snip pins at all as some reviews on here suggest. They accommodate as good if not better then the brass backers, and do not poke through. These are for standard (most pins) I'd say.

I have enamel pins on my backpack and a few of them came with the basic metal backings. I really love these rubber pin backings because they keep the pin from moving around. I'm not taking them on and off so I need a backing that is going to stay. I also don't have a bunch of pins so I'm glad I could buy this quantity vs. a 200 quantity one...lol.
I received these today and was immediately impressed with the quality of the plastic case that they come in; nice and sturdy. The keepers are well made and I am confident that they will work much better than the cheap ones I had.
So far my pins are safely in place and seem to be holding onto the backers very well.
Works great. I've used both the rubber pin backs and the metal clasp pin backs. These rubber pin backs have always worked much better. They stay in place and I'm not having to hunt one down everyday due to them falling off.
I have ribbons and badges that I have to wear on my Air Force shirt and these make them less painful unlike the metal "frogs" that come on the original stuff. It also helps on the Service Dress Jacket so that you don't scratch up your plastic name plate or the badges you wear on your shirt. Easy for when you can take your jacket off and still be in uniform.
These are so great!! I have many pins on my name badge for work and it was so frustrating to have them fall off all the time because I lost the backs so often. These are great because they stay in place giving me peace of mind. They also do not get caught on things like traditional backs do.
