I use this every week to do laundry (since it's only me and I take a small size clothes). Large enough to do a full size sheet set, or a couple pairs of pants. Spin dry is nice. Clothes are still wet but not dripping. I do have to do a spin twice though, and hand ring before starting the spins. Also I recommend you find a cork to put in the drain hose while it's being used to wash as sometimes the water may seep out (depending on how much you have to fill - more water for more clothes so they move around better). The motor was quiet but after a few months got loud and more grinding sounding. But overall, this is one nice little washer (I've had mine 6 months now). It does get the clothes clean (then again, my clothes don't get very soiled to begin with). I've had it clean things like ring around the color and other stains after I pretreat it. I definitely recommend this for small apartments, RVs, etc.
I bought this washer about three months ago and purposely waited until now to write a review. I wanted to wait this long, because many people complained that their washers stopped working after a few months. So, I wanted to make sure I passed that point before I started singing it's praises. I happy to say that so far, it is performing quite well!
The pros of this model are the motor is very strong, the agitator is very effective in helping to cleaning your clothes and the timer on the machine works well and can be easily changed for both the wash and spin cycles. And although I bought this unit specifically because it has the spin basket (which is very useful), I still find that I need to wring the clothes out a bit in order to get rid of some of the excess water.
One of the cons with this machine is it only can handle very small loads. So I primarily use this machine for my light weight clothing. Or if I can't make it to the laundry one week. I use this washer to clean a few items like underwear, dress shirts and (occasional) very light weight sweaters or pants. However all these items can't be washed in one cycle, I would have to break it up into two or sometimes three loads.
This is the same case with the spin basket. It is only big enough to handle half of the clothes that are in one wash cycle. So I only use it to spin dry heavier weight item...and it is effective for these items. Especially if you let them spin for at least 5 minutes. But, the worst part of this spin process is the more weight in the basket, the more unstable the machine becomes and it will shake a lot. And this is not uncommon. I've seen this with larger machines in the laundromat. I usually just place my hand on top to keep it steady. Although I wouldn't recommend walking away from the machine during the wash or spin cycles. Make sure the machine is not unbalanced before you leave it running. I've learned that it can become unbalanced if there is too much water, stuffed with too many clothes, or if the basket is not connected properly.
I know some people believe this is too much trouble and a waste of time and it would be better to just wash the clothes by hand. This could be true for some, but for me I don't mind dealing with the extra time it takes. Especially if this can all be done easily from the comfort of my home. Also it is less labor intensive than washing clothes out by hand (I've tried it already and hated it). And in my opinion clothes come out cleaner and are rinsed out better when I use this machine.
Overall, I think this is a good machine for the price. When I bought it I didn't really expect for it to replace my normal laundry routine, but it does help to lighten my loads and is great in a pinch.
I will be posting a video to accompany my review. This machine is quite the little helper. My currant situation requires me to hand wash clothes since I am now living in a two room apartment in a city. I never had to hand wash before and was always use to a washer. This machine isn't a set-and-go so much as a full size washer. It only helps with hand washing small garments and items of the sorts. The less you put in the machine, the better the results. I am quite happy with the results of the wash and the clothing really does come out cleaner than a large size washer. Perfect for the clothing of two people and I do produce allot of laundry for one person. Just takes a moment to get use to the machine and to know its limits. Once a routine is established, you are good to go. The only complaint I would have is that first of all you have to know where the max fill is. Since there is no markings, I had to fill it up till the water didn't drop from the top securement when running (about 1/4 of the way from the top of the machine or 3/4 full of water including garments) and also, the bottom of the unit gets hot from the spin cycle of its ran too long. Put a fan pointed at it and it will be okay. Can't handle too much weight in the spin basket but can wash a bit more than 6 lbs. just have it close to the water source and close to a drain. I have it on the kitchen counter, next to the sink and it just fits. If it wobbles from the spin just even out the clothing or put less in the basket. I do recommend this product to those who even just want a small washer to take on small tasks. Example, it can wash your work uniform and under garments for the following day if you are in a pinch. All the positive reviews on here are very helpful and I will be contributing a video to help you get an idea of how to use this machine.
Just tried the machine today. The quality is okay, it gets cloths clean.
Pro: light weight, easy to use, cute, does the job.
Con: the inlet water hose is a joke, it won't stay on the machine and water will spill all over.
The washer is LIGHT DUTY. It won't wash heavy cloths as good as light cloths. When spinning, it shakes terribly and won't get thick material clothes dry. And I found out that the timer knob may be broken easily, it got jammed once today. I don't know how long the machine will last, but definitely not for heavy duty use.
Works well! I'm so happy I got it. It's great for washing small loads of clothes. I can do several pairs of socks and underwear, and a couple of shirts at a time. I was also able to wash a hoodie but that has to be either separate or with 1-2 pairs of socks only. This washer can't handle too much at once. I also washed 3 pairs of leggings at once and the washer handled it well. Honestly it's the perfect size for me because it washes about the same amount of clothes that I can fit on my clothes line to dry.
When I first got the machine it reeked of plastic and chemicals. The smell filled the apartment! I almost returned it. But I let it air out on the balcony and a few hours later no smell. Just smells like clean laundry now :)
The spin dryer isn't great. You're better off wringing out the clothes by hand. The machine almost threw itself off the counter when I tried drying my hoodie. It can handle smaller items but it takes 5 min to remove the same amount of water I could have wrung out in 30 seconds. It can wash a lot more than it can "dry"- the basket is very small. I would suggest getting another spin dryer if that's important to you.
The set up is very easy. Make sure the drain hose is hooked to the washer before you fill it with water! And watch the level of water in the drain hose as you fill the washing tub. I only fill the tub about halfway with clothes and water. And you don't need a lot of detergent- I use less than what my detergent calls for a "small load". I run the washer for a minute with just soap and water to dissolve it all. I would also suggest soaking or using pre-treatment for heavy stains as the machine isn't going to scrub the stains out. Definitely still powerful though and MUCH better results than hand washing. I use this machine next to the kitchen sink for easy fill and draining.

LOVE the Panda Washer! It's a little bigger than I expected, so I can't keep it on my kitchen counter at all times, but that's not the machines fault. It works wonderfully and fits a lot more garments than I expected. The smaller the items are (underwear, socks etc.) the better the washing works but I've thrown in pants, sweaters etc and it works fine. The spinner is somewhat small, and you will probably have to do three spinner cycles for a full load of washed items, but it makes my life still so much easier than wringing the clothes by hand. I have not tried to wash duvet covers and queen sized sheets, because I don't think they would fit into the spinner and I would have no where to dry the sheets in my apartment anyways. Another thing to mention is that you have to stay close, because it is not an automated machine, meaning you have fill it with water and then drain it and then refill when you want to rinse etc. but I don't mind, it still beats schlepping my laundry to the laundromat any day.
Now I can save that laundromat money for something better!
I bought the machine that is "Light Blue" and holds 5.5-6 lbs. It comes with a spin basket so I can spin out the majority of the water and then just hang dry with a fan in front. My clothes are dry within two hours! Jeans take a little bit longer but that's alright. The best part is that my apartment smells like laundry after I am done. :)
Don't fill too much! You will burn out the motor. I put water in, put soap in, run the cycle a little bit to sud up the water, then slowly add in clothes to make sure the clothes are moving and not getting tangled into each other. You can definitely tell when there are too many clothes.
I love this little washing machine. I my apartment is small and I can't have a machine I'm my apartment. I wanted something that I could use to was clothes and maybe not have to go to the laundry so much.
When I use my machine I put it on a folding table near my bathroom sink. You cant use very hot water the instructions say. The sink attachment that is used to put the water in the machine will pop off if the water flow is too high. I've used my shower head to add water. Lol.
I put the clothes in first then add the water.
I use warm water on the hot side but not too hot to mess up the machine. I have wash 2 skirts 3 blouses and maybe a few pieces of underwear in the machine at once and it was good. I use liquid gain like a half cap and a scoop of oxyclean powder. I add the detergent once it is filled. I close the machine and let wash.
The noise level is not so loud, but you can hear it.
I drain my water on a bucket but if you can let it drain down the sink or tub it would perfect.
I add more water and fabric softener next. I allow that to go through a cycle tgen drain that.
Next I take all the clothes out and add the little basket. I can put two blouses in at a time make sure it is even in the basket or else it will knock the machine around.
Over all it is a process but this machine serves its purpose. My clothes comes out clean. I love it.
This works well for washing a day's worth of cloth diapers/training pants which is what I bought it for. It gets them cleaner than my full size washer. I have washed a single outfit of mine in it as well which was jeans, t-shirt, socks and undergarments and it did a good job with that also. It does not work efficiently if you overfill it and will bog the motor down. The spin basket is nice if you have arthritis or another condition that would make hand wringing difficult, but hand wringing is more efficient. So unless you have difficulty hand wringing you could save a few dollars and opt for the model without the spin basket. The spin basket is small and will only hold about half a load at a time. An average size pair of jeans will not fit in the spin basket. What I don't like about this is that the fill hose and drain hose seem flimsy, but they have given me no problems. The fill hose does not fit correctly on my faucet to filling with a bucket works better for me, otherwise I have to hold the hose in place as it fills.
I got this on a whim.. To use for small loads when my washer broke and I was waiting on a part.
I start dyeing my black clothes as for some reason no matter what I paid.. They would fade quickly even in cold water.. I heard about Proceion MX amazing for cotton and synthetic blend. I got the whole system. Pre wash.. Dye set.. Soda ash.. And amazing results.. This machine handles every step of the process.. I am so thankful.. It really makes this job easy.. I have shower head with a long hose.. It is amazing.. Especially the dreaded rinsing part.. I put some in agitate while keeping the water running into the machine as the dye runs out... Amazing absolutely painlessly dyed all my blacks..
As far as washing.. Follow the instructions. It's best for smaller items.. Or a pair or two of jeans.. I bought a separate spinner for heavy stuff.. All in all an absolutely fantastic buy!
