Monkey Hook Picture Hanger Home and Office Pack, 30 pc Set

I prefer nails and screws. Never comfortable with gadgets. We just moved into a house with perfect walls and have piles of things we want to decorate with. Scariest thing to hang- a heavy clock.
Well, I am sold. The regulator clock is on the wall, next to the front door, and is solid. Great invention!

Clearly someone much smarter than me used principles of physics and had lunch with Houdini and this was the result of that meeting.
I hung 40, yes 40 pound wood carvings on the wall- the original drywall I should mention of a 1970s house and 8 months later they're still standing beautiful as ever. This product is easy to use and if I can hang those suckers all by myself- you can too!

Absolutely LOVE this product! I recently moved into a new apartment and brought with me a large 25# mirror. It has sat on the floor in my dining area for a month simply because I've been dreading the thought of the holes I'd have to put into the wall to hang it. I was all set to go with the standard drywall screws (I even bought 2 packages), but decided first to search for tips on hanging mirrors. I'm so glad I did or I would never have stumbled across a shout out for Monkey Hook in one of the search results. I admit I do most of my online shopping based on customer reviews, so I read quite a few before deciding to place the order. I am happy to say that not only have I hung the mirror (by myself mind you), but I have also hung several other items. I have used all 3 sizes, each with no issues whatsoever. Honestly, determining and measuring for placement was much more time consuming than installing the Monkey Hook itself. It really does take just seconds. If you are at all on the fence about purchasing this, don't be. It really does work just as promised. I would recommend this to anyone and would order it again in a minute. Thanks!

Why didn't I think of these??? We recently moved so my wife has generally had a couple items for me to hang every week for the past two months. Historically I have been an "OK, I will get to it" sort of guy as I just don't drop everything and go look for the right size hanger, find my hammer and tape measure and hang something on demand. Once she brought me a monkey hook though the job has gotten so much easier and neater. No tools required, just push the monkey hook through the drywall, turn it right side up and the job is done. This pack has heavy duty, regular and short/ tight fit sizes that have worked for every job so far. We just keep them in a kitchen drawer and they greatly simplify the effort for hanging all sorts of things. They are less intrusive to the wall and easy to move around as well. The old style picture hangars that we have used forever are not obsolete.

Possibly the best gadget for hanging pictures and other things. If you have sheetrock walls (most modern homes do), this is the best thing for hanging anything you need to on your walls. I had to hang a framed mirror in the bathroom and it required two holders for proper placement and fitment. I am not the handy type, but I just measured the distance I needed and inserted the monkey hook into the wall. It took me less than five minutes to hang the mirror. There are some YouTube videos that illustrate exactly how to use the product. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Probably the best way to hang pictures, assuming your intended wall is what these were designed for - namely drywall with empty space behind it. If there is a stud or other solid object within 3" behind your drywall, you'll need a more conventional hanger.

These leave a hole about the same size a small nail does, but no tools are required to put them in and they are VERY secure and will support heavier pictures (use 2 or more for very heavy frames).

The "flush mount" hooks only stick out about 1/4" from the wall and you get 10 of those. Save them for the items you really want to hug close to the wall.

I recommend you get a stud finder to make sure you choose a good spot to stick these in. I usually run the stud finder around and make pencil marks where the studs are and then choose where to hang pictures.

I have several large heavy frames and even a heavy ironwood didjeridoo hung using these. I've been using them for years and never had a problem.

NOTE: If you are trying to be really precise lining up your frames (I usually am), then measure the distance from the bottom of the hook to the spot where it will stick out from the wall. The bottom of the hook is usually about 1/4" below the hole in the wall, so aim high by that much when putting the hook into the wall and you'll be right on.

I was skeptical when I bought the first package when we got it home and put it to real world use we used every single hook in the package we went around and replaced everything on our walls that we have been using before Nails tax pins we replaced everything with monkey hooks we went back about another package and used those in new areas when friends come over or family I give them hooks to take home and try so they can see how much better it is to use this than anything else we've been using over the years

I had purchased a wall hanging that I just loved. I was aware that it weighed 5 pounds, as stated in the description. But, when it arrived I realized that it weighed well over 5 pounds and it was more than I could handle, there was no way I could hang this on the wall, even if I did find a hanger that would hold its weight. I would still have to hold the wall hanging up there long enough to move it around to find the hook and then to get the wall hanging to settle on the hook when I was finally able to locate it.
I was about to return the wall hanging when I read a review about Monkey Hooks and in particular about the Gorilla Grade hanger. The video that I watched made it look so simple. I was hesitant, but moved forward due to the great review and I am so thankful that I did. The installation was just as easy as shown and the Gorilla Grade hanger is holding my wall hanging with ease.
Thank you Monkey Hook and thank you to the person who took the time to leave the review...

Until we hired a handyman to hang some heavy, framed pictures and also some heavy brass trays on a high wall, we were unaware of Monkey Hooks. Our helper, while balanced on a ladder with a 36" tray in one hand and a Monkey Hook in the other, twisted in the hook and 'zip, zap' hung the tray in record time in our opinion! We were amazed how easy these odd looking hangers twist into drywall with only a tiny bit exposed to hold all kinds of pictures...and safely hold the weight of the heavy trays. The long part of of a Monkey Hook is hidden behind the drywall to provide support for a hanging object. I found the Monkey Hooks on Amazon and ordered a good supply, so no more messing with traditional picture hanging stuff that require hammers or screwdrivers and often leave very visible holes. If a Monkey Hook has to be moved, it leaves only a tiny hole.

I ordered these so my husband could hang two 50 lb mirrors and he was skeptical but they worked great! Great product for sure.
