I purchased it as a gift for someone with poor hearing and there is a delay between theTV transmitter and the unit; the audio and video are slightly out of sync.

I bought this today, not from amazon, and I wanted to write a review for those with same problem as I have. I am deaf, or so my husband says, he doesn’t need the TV to be turned up like I do so I’m constantly asking him to turn it up. NO MORE.
I already had a 12.99 set of Bluetooth head phones that I used with my tablet but at first they would not connect so hubby took them closer to unit and they connected and stay connected. Now he can turn the sound OFF on TV and I can still hear it. Awesome.
They took 10 minutes to install and connect. I have not given stars for battery life because obviously I haven’t had it long enough. Or volume control, my volume control is on headset not the MEE unit. Sound quality will depend on head set probably but like I said mine were only $12.99 and the quality is wonderful in my opinion. There is a tiny bit of echo if I only have one ear bud in but not when wearing both buds.
If you have any questions I will be happy to help. However, I will say here to get these ones not the cheaper version because some will only connect to audio jack which would turn all sound to headset so no one else can hear tv. Hope this helps

Great decision! I read a lot of product reviews before purchasing a Bluetooth transmitter/receiver and I’m very happy I went with the MEE audio connect hub. I was hesitant since this device features APTX Bluetooth codec and was worried about lag with my setup. My main reason for needing a Bluetooth transmitter was to listen to TV at night while my family was sleeping. I use Bose quite comfort 35 wireless headphones which use AAC codec. After setting up the MEE connect hub I can happily confirm the lag is not an issue, if there is lag I cannot tell. My iPhone and Bose headphones both connected easily to the hub and the audio signal is strong and clear.

Sound a little off

My wife bought this for me as a gift from a local retail shop (Microcenter). I had bought the cheapest bluetooth headphones available not too long ago (around $20), and while I liked them, I wondered if the reception range was dependent on the headphones or the sending unit.

I've gotten the answer with this unit, the MEE Audio Connect Hub - it doesn't matter where I am in my house - upstairs, downstairs, on the other side, etc... all of the sound comes in crystal clear!

My only misgiving at first which I've since gotten the answer to is that when you first set up the system it has a speaker that loudly lets you know when the unit is on, when you've paired, when you've unpaired, etc.. But I posted the question here, and got the answer - there is a "Volume +" button which is meant to be a volume boost for the signal that is sent to your headphones, but it also doubles as the toggle to turn off the voice prompts by holding the button down. So now the unit is perfect - my wife and I can both watch tv with each of our headphones connected without waking our 2 year old or our 2 month old - wonderful!
