Although the fabrics were mostly prewashed I wasn't taking chances with all the white on this quilt, pic attached. Worked perfectly! Very pleased. Next up a blue batik bargello that I'm working on. I will update when I've tried this product again.
Worked awesome on my fast-fashion indigo blue dyed jeans from the Ancient Mariner store. Very little rub-off. I mean, I wouldn't go scooting on my behind down a white carpet, but for casual, regular wear, it's great.
I use this product whenever I buy new jeans or dark pants. I've used it on cotton blends as well as 100% cotton. It works fantastically - my kids school pants from last year are still nice looking and not faded at all, even after a year of wear & washes. I've also used this in my quilting with excellent results. Highly recommended!
Really works well and only takes a little bit. I was having an awful time with bleeding of the writing on a signature quilt I am making and this stopped it. The "permanent" marker just kept bleeding and I didn't want to have to get people to redo the blocks they signed and this saved me.
Timely shipment in good condition. Love this product as a prewash, color setting agent .... especially when I am using red and white in a quilt. Never had a problem and a little goes a long way.

I had a quilt that was bright colors and white. After testing a corner, I knew the colors would bleed. I used Retayne and the colors stayed fixed. It even took out some of the staining on my test corner, An amazing product!
I cannot say enough good things about Retayne! I used to struggle with fabrics bleeding when I prewash before a sewing project. I used to wash several times. With Retayne, I can wash them once, and be confident that they will not bleed. I wish I had discovered it sooner.

This is the best. If you have never used it you need to because it keeps the colors of your fabric from running on your other colors.
Take the time to use this on your brightly colored fabrics before sewing with them. The colors stay bright and do not run when they are washed later. It only takes one ruined quilt to make this point.
