I just began knitting and I wanted a set of everything so I could experiment with the different things. That being said you get for what you pay for. The smaller needles are flimsy, but then again they aren't wood and most likely they will bend or break if too much force is used. the larger needles are very sturdy, and smooth. The points where are a little rugged, but not too much where the threat will snag. The points are I guess are pointy and not blunt so I would say they are really great quality for what you pay. I think if you are an experienced knitter you might probably want better quality, but if you are like me a recreational beginner knitter they are perfect for the learning process.
I'm shocked at how much I love it. The price had me scared but hopeful. The pictures say it all! Came in very little packaging, but not a thing was damaged. In fact, look at everything that is in there. Just the box with scissors and stitch markers and loom needles, etc. Is a $10 or more item if you can even find a kit with all of that in it at your local yarn store or even walmart. The straight needles are packaged individually in pairs. The circ needles are very snuggly fitted on actually! No problems yet. Even so, for the value, I'd just super glue it back and keep on truckin. You cannot be disappointed with this. I'm still shocked that it wasn't flimsy wooden crap. I dare say I'll have these for years and years to come.

This came exactly as described and so far is decent quality. The circular needles are great, and seem to be pretty durable. The only problem I have is that every single one of the regular needles are curved, and seem like they'd be very easy to break if one tried to straighten them. That being said, they still get the job done and have the perfect grip on the yarn. They're just a little awkward to hold. Still though, at this price, I have no regrets. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable way to get their needle collection started.
The only thing I really didn't like about this set was the circular needles. They are joined with a plasticy tubing material that makes it hard to move the stitches around easily. The straight needles were excellent to knit with as they are smooth. The stitches glide easily over them. Knitting with the smaller needles makes me feel like they are going to break, though. The little plastic box of stitch markers, point protectors, and tapestry needles was a great plus, too, but the blades of the yarn cutter poked through the thin plastic case. I had to reinforce it with duct tape to make it safer.
This, for me , is a great deal!
Granted it isn't Stainless Steel and long blanket sized lengths, but for the basic projects I have in mind, this is perfect!
I was worried the plastic tubes might be an issue for my sock knitting, but I have not experienced a problem!
I will be keeping tabs on the durability and keep my review updated, but so far so good!
And the price is unbeatable!!!!

Seem to be a quality product considering the price. All the needles are smooth. I was not successful using them but I am 30 years out of practice. This is a great product worth the price. Any problems I am having with them is my problem not with the produce. Fast efficient delivery, adequate packaging. not high quality but really worth the price.Great for beginners.
This product was fantastic for me as a beginning knitter. It came with everything it promised and the wide array of needle sizes was exactly what I wanted. I can't believe it was this cheap and the quality was as good as it is. Would recommend highly!
I bought this set for my neice, who is a beginning knitter and she is very happy with it. Some of the markers I consider more for crochet but I can see using them for both. If you are just starting out and dreaming of all the patterns you don't have needles for yet this is a good set for you. Bear in mind that it is not the most durable set of needles but with care they should last you quite some time. Though we have not yet had any problems I would be especially careful with the cables and not allow the project to hang it's full weight, but support it as I'm afraid the cables may pull out. Not all of us can afford a top of the line set! Sandpaper or a nail file for any rough spots and a bit of non staining wood oil or beeswax would be good for care, just don't go overboard!
I ordered this for the circular needle set and 1 day shipping. I figured the extra set of wooden needles would be nice and hey, a plastic case with accessories.
It came promptly the next morning and I am so happy with the entire thing. Beautiful needles that work great - lovely tanned bamboo. Awesome kit that includes 8 needle point covers and plenty of stitch holders, scissors etc. I'm already using all of it. I hadn't shelled out for the needle point covers before but I'll always use them now.
Super happy with this kit. I recommend it. The circular needs do seem well made. No issues with them.
I was weary, like other reviewers, but holy love! For the money you are getting quite a bit. Heck everything you need to start knitting. They came packaged nicely and secure. The circular needles were held together tightly. The straight needles were packed in individual sleeves, and a box contained everything else! What a plus!
Cons
The smaller needles seem to warp with wear. I am ok with this as I like the molding it has formed to my hand.
The scissors needed to be sharpened after a couple of projects. Again, I'm ok with this as I used them ALOT. (pom poms)
some of the needles needed a little sand paper and wax paper. Really.... so did my Clovers!
At the end of the day I would buy these again and again! Hell when I wear these out I'll buy another set! Why not the price is right!
