It says two day shipping, that's a total lie. Overall product is great for what I need it. I will be buying 7 more. I have a lot of nail polishes. :) Only Sinful Color and Sally Hansen fit. Finger paint, China glaze, Revlon, OPI do not fit. Hopefully this helps.
So i have my essential oil collection in 3 of these(0.5 oz bottles), I have my fragrance oil concentrate collection in 1 (1 oz bottles), my thread collection in 2 and finally my nail polish collection in 2. I know they are purchased mainly for thread and matchbox cars but these have come extremely in handy! I'll post pics!
I bought this item after reading another person's review for a car case for Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars. I'm SO glad that I purchased this because it's absolutely perfect for holding little cars! I also purchased a Hot Wheels logo sticker for the front, which really makes it look like this case was designed for cars. My son LOVES organizing his car collection, and with 2 side, this box really is awesome. I highly recommend this item, not only for cars, but whatever item you need to organize and tote around.
Purchased this based on previous reviews where they use this for hot-wheels car storage. This works great for about 50 cars (you'd have to stack a few to get 50 in). The regular compartments fit the regular sized cars easily and the extended compartments work great for the oversized cars. My boys enjoy filling this up and carrying them around. The latch seems sturdy enough to last a while and I like the sturdy hard plastic. Currently this holds our collection, but if we get any more cars we'll definitely be purchasing another one of these!
I bought this for storing my nail polish. Since the other case I found was more than double the price, I figured I'd take a chance on this one instead. And I'm glad I did!
I was hoping to put gel polishes on one side and regular polishes on the other but most of the regular ones dont fit. But that's ok for me, I likely won't be using regular as much as gel now anyways.
But I digress.
Since gel bottles are usually smaller, this is perfect. My collection is small right now but this gives me an excuse to buy more lol
For size reference, BMC, Jamberry Colour Cure, Gellen (mini) and Sensationail all fit with room to spare. The AzureBeauty base and top coat fit one on top of another in the bigger cavity.
Sally Hansen and Sally Hansen Complete don't fit. They are too tall. But I think Sinful Colors would if I put it in straight vs at an angle.
Approximate measurements are:
Smaller cavities are 3" long, 1.45" wide and 1.45" deep.
Two larger cavities are same width and depth but around 6.25" long.
Hope this helps someone with their choice! :)

Description
Perfect for storing spools (up to 3 by 1-1/2-inch in size); floss; bobbins; and small embellishments. The organizer has two hinged doors so access is easy from either side and also features 46 fixed compartments; a carry handle for portability; and is made of transparent; durable molded plastic. This organizer measures 14 by 10-1/2 by 3-inch. Made in USA.
My son has a growing collection of toy vehicles that are very good at blending into our rugs and hurt very much when you step on them. So I was trying to find a way to keep them off the floor. I tried the hot wheels containers first, and although they are aesthetically pleasing, they are expensive and hard for my toddler son to open the container ... which leaves him frustrated and even less motivated to pick up his toys. Thanks to Pinterest, I found an article where someone used these thread organizers for hot wheels, and I decided to give it a try. Encouraged by the reviews posted, I purchased 2 of these containers.
They arrived faster than promised and I was pleasantly surprised that the outer part of the case was made of thicker plastic. The plastic is clear, not cloudy, so you can see what is in the case clearly. Because of it's plain nature, my son did not jump up and start putting cars into the slots, as he did with the hot wheel case. However, once I started putting a few in, he joined and we put them in the slots together. I liked how you could put them flat in the slots so you can see what the cars look like when the case is closed. A few of his cars were a little longer than the slot, but I was able to put it in at an angle. A couple more of the cars were just too long, and I saved them for the 1 slot of both sides that has a divider "missing". We were also able to fit the Disney Pixar Cars into the slots as well! They run a tad bit bigger than the hot wheels or the matchbox cars. (1:55 vice 1:64, I believe)
I showed my toddler son once how to open and close the box, making sure to remind him that he needed to hear the latch "click" when he closed it, or all the cars will come tumbling out. He was able to open and close this organizer easily. No more frustration! He liked being able to look at the box to see what he wanted before opening and grabbing the exact car out (and I liked that he didn't need to dump out the cars from the bin to find what he was looking for). The handle is easy for me to carry the box around, but my son found it a bit heavy when full of hot wheels. I also like that you can stack the boxes on top of each other to save space or stand it on the side to display both sides.
I am a little wary of how long the latch would last, but other than that, I am very pleased with this purchase. It costs a lot less than the hot wheels brand car organizers, you can see what is inside, and it stacks nicely. Now the true test .... to see if the cars will return to the container after being played with!!! :)
I can't say enough nice things about this product. My mother originally purchased one for me to store my hot wheels in over 25 years ago. When my husband and I combined our cars for our little, we found that we needed another. It is the EXACT SAME product. Same quality. After 25 years, my old container only has a minor crack in the side and still works amazing. I included a picture of both containers. You can hardly tell the difference. The old container is on the right. Very high quality. I highly recommend.
I bought this because it seemed similar to other double-sided plastic cases sold on Amazon for twice the price, with the intent of using it for nail polish. Now that I see it in person, I do think the more expensive ones may have slightly different dimensions that accommodate more nail polish bottle types/brands, however, it's crazy to pay double the price of this one for a simple plastic case.
I've taken some photos of different polishes in the cubby holes. The absolute tallest bottles you will be able to fit are ILNP and Sinful Colors. OPI and China Glaze are too tall and will not fit in the standard slots.
I was worried that the plastic doors would not stay closed when the heavy nail polish bottles clang around against them, but they magically do. It's a friction closure--there's no latch or clasp, so only time will tell as to whether the plastic will eventually stretch out and fail to click shut properly. Until then, it''s the best way I've found to store my clunky nail polish collection. so it'll do.
This works perfectly for storing my son's Matchbox & Hotwheel cars. There are 46 little compartments, one of which is double-sized, so one container really holds a lot of cars! My son is almost 3, and he is able to open/close the container on his own without issue. He loves carting it about by the handle, and thinks it's fun to put them away. Hoping this new trend continues! I've seen the official Hot Wheel storage containers firsthand and they are junk - this is half the price and much more functional. Highly recommend!
I'm happy with my purchase of this thread organizer. The compartments are large enough to hold the spool as well as the matching bobbin, so it's a big time saver in finding the right bobbin without searching all over. Since I have both sewing thread and embroidery thread, it's great to be able to keep each type on it's own side of the container, so I won't mix them up. Also, the embroidery machine uses a slightly different bobbin and it's very hard to tell which is which, so it's important to be able to keep them in their own side, with the embroidery spools.
The latches or fasteners seem to be very strong on both sides of the box and I've had no trouble with them coming undone. It was a very good purchase at a good price.
