We've been living with this island hood for the last month and a half and have found it to be really effective in vacating the steam and grease from cooking. It looks REALLY nice above our new island as well. The installation when pretty quickly, though the installation instructions can be a little vague. My only two real complaint is that the 4 LED bulbs are not very bright and the clock cannot be changed from 24hr military time to standard 12hr am/pm time. I may possibly end up re-installing a few extra inches further into the island as I find myself brushing my head against the glass rim. Not sure if that will affect the effectiveness of vacating steam, but better to not hit my head for rest of the lifetime of this product. Overall though, a very solid product!
Well packaged. Installation was difficult because my vent was not 6" but 4", so getting everything hooked up without killing myself or dropping the hood on the floor required two people. Looks sharp and is very sturdy (I installed Joust supports made out of wood to provide something solid to bolt into. Not sure how it would work with the drywall anchors provided.
An overall great product with a lot of power. Tough install, as I had to install an exhaust vent out of the house, but with 2 people finished in a weekend.
Product was packaged very well, no dents. Purchased as part of our kitchen renovation. Installation was a little challenging but finished it in about 3 hours. Good suction. Overall very happy.
This is an amazing vent hood that deals with smoke and cookings smells completely. With 900CFM of power, even cooking steaks on the stovetop keeps the area smoke and smell free. It is pretty challenging to install for the DIY so I would recommend having it installed by a professional if you do not have some serious skills.

Purchased as part of our kitchen renovation. Had contractors install it but it only took a couple guys less than 2 hours. A little noisy on the highest setting but not obnoxious. Overall very happy.
