I have a wood pellet smoker with a built in probe but after years of abuse the probe stopped working. I liked the idea of being able to know the temperature of what i am smoking without having to be around my smoker. I pulled the trigger on this model even though the price seems pretty steep because i thought the features and app would fit my needs. The app is easy to setup (android phone) and there is a big magnet on the bottom of the bluetooth base so you can stick it to the side of the grill. I was able to select pork and the app asked me if the i wanted it medium or well done and automatically went to the correct temperature. It also take the ambient temperature of the grill and estimates how long it will take the meet to cook. I thought this was a great feature. Clean up was nice and easy as the base is metallic as is probe coil. I would recommend this product to everyone. 4 stars becuase the price is a bit high.
This thermometer had been very helpful for me. I get paranoid with cooking meat through and end up overcooking to just be sure its done, especially with chicken. With this thermometer, regardless if I'm baking, frying, grilling or smoking, I can ensure the meat is cooked to a safe/desired temperature without over cooking. Super easy to set up and use.
Been on the market for a digital thermometer for when I prepare and cook fancy meals for family and friends. This by far has exceeded all expectations. I just wanted to share what a great item and highly recommended if you want to complete a great meal of any sort.

I do a lot of grilling in the summertime and was looking for a meat thermometer to make sure my guests would be satisfied with the food being served. I stumbled across this thermometer and was not disappointed. It comes nicely packaged and the product is well made. The price tag is definitely worth it. I was able to easily sync it to my phone for tracking. My meats are now the perfect temperatures!!! Love this thing.
I recently moved into a new townhouse, complete with the perfect deck for grilling, and I was not pleased to apparently have lost my trusty meat thermometer during the move. My old thermometer was pretty nice, and I've had bad luck with cheaper models, so I wanted something comparable to what I was previously using. This seemed promising so I went for it. I was able to use it over the last few days (yay spring!) and I am pleased to report that it has met and exceeded my expectations. (Sidenote--I was also impressed with the packaging, which has multiple languages including Swedish instructions on the back, a language that I'm in the process of learning!)
This has a very sleek design to it, with a modern aesthetic. It's just a really simple yet attractive look overall. It feels sturdy and durable. Using it was easy, and I really appreciated being able to use the app on my phone. I was in the middle of grilling last night, when I remembered that I had promised to make a certain pasta dish to go with dinner. I was able to go inside and cook my dish while monitoring the thermometer data on my app, which was insanely convenient for me. I imagine it's also going to make grilling in the summer heat and humidity easier for me, too, since I can stay inside with the comfort of my air conditioning while monitoring the app. The data seemed accurate, too, which is of course most important of all. All of my food came out as I expected, and my boyfriend said that the medium rare steak I had cooked him was more to his liking than it was with my old thermometer. Win! Overall, I recommend this meat thermometer.
This is such a handy device. I've never experienced such an advanced cooking thermometer. You stick it in the meat and it measures the temperature in different places so you have the perfect temperature that you're looking for! It also has a bluetooth feature so you know the exact temperature when you're a few feet away. You can leave to do whatever you need to do without babysitting whatever you're cooking. The brand is CookPerfect and it definitely stands with the title!
