I wanted something simple and reliable without the monthly fees. This meets most my expectations. Is very easy to sync and install. The resolution is good and we shall see about battery life. No 5 star because it's a little slow in picking up motion and capturing it.
These security cameras are perfect for monitoring my home entrances from inside. The app is easy to use and user friendly for the most part. It could use an upgrade on the way you schedule on/off times. I like that you can remotely turn cameras on or off outside of the schedule depending on circumstances. I love that it will go back to scheduled on or off at the next scheduled time. I cannot report on the battery life because I have only had it a couple of months. My daughter kept checking the peep hole and setting it off one day. The app notified me that there was a lot of traffic at that camera and that if it continued, it would shorten battery life. I informed her to stop and I have not received notification since. It is our primary entrance, too. I like that feature of the app! It was easy to install and I definitely think it is a great value for the price!
I love these things! I have them installed at a vacation rental and our home. They paid for themselves the first week when one of our guests who claimed to be a party of 3 was actually a party of 7. They are discreet and so easy to install and setup (less than an hour). What's also nice is they aren't so discreet as to be creepy. It is obvious when they are filming because a blue light comes on and they provide short film clips of 5 seconds or more. Our guests feel secure but not watched or spyed on. We have all cameras installed on the exterior and they have done very well in cold, snow, and rain conditions. We would highly recommend, especially for rental properties.
If you're on the fence about a home security system that's affordable and easily moveable with no drilling or anything this is it! It is amazing being able to bring my phone up and check on my place whenevwr I want, the sound quality it picks up is surprisingly great! My only thing is that the motion sensor does not work through windows. So although my window looks to my front door it will not trigger. But other than that great product!
I purchased this system for my home a little more than 3 months ago. This weekend one of the cameras stopped working properly. The batteries did not last long so today I bought new batteries to replace the set that came with the camera. That was a mere 6 hours ago. The new batteries are now dead again in that camera. I was notified by the app that the batteries were low so I went to check the camera and when I removed it from its mount, it was warm to the touch. As this was a 2 camera system, it is now 1/2 dead. Seems like this purchase was a big waste of money.

So far so good. Very clear picture, extremely easy set up. Battery has lasted 3 weeks so far with heavy action. Very pleased

Cameras have excellent picture/video quality. Only a slight delay when going live but honestly I expected that. Can mount anywhere! The mount that came with it hinges in and out and rotated on the mount and the camera. SUPER EASY SETUP. It took me all of ten minutes to have the app downloaded, the system hooked to WiFi, and both cameras hooked to the system. And my husband was able to download the app log in with the account info I created and see the cameras live feed instantly while he’s on the tug boat!
We have several of these and I love checking on things at the office occasionally. These work great. They have to be closer to the wi-fi than maybe some others but they do work good and I like them. Maybe not so good for full time watching but good for checking in.
