My 3-yr-old wanted a golden snitch for Christmas. This was all I could find. I think it caused him to realize that magic isn't real. The invisible string is extremely difficult to manage. But eventually he gave up trying and just enjoyed having a snitch. The flapping wings are kind of fun.
He left it out one night and the cats found it. They REALLY enjoyed it. Turns out the thin plastic wings are no match for a pair of kittens. It was destroyed by morning.
Too bad there's not a kid-toy version of a snitch out there. Or a cat-toy!
This thing looks so cool when it's in action. I wasn't really sure what it was about but the reviews were great and we love HP so I got it for my daughter (11) for Christmas and wow! It looks really cool. Very good purchase.
Looks fun. Not for kids unless hey already have handled remote toys. I got this for a 7 yr old bday but too complicated. Saving it for someoens 30th bday
