I'm using this to freshen up two sofas for a friend who wants to use them but didn't want to pay for reupholstering. They are turning out so great! A can doesn't go very far, but it's still WAY cheaper than having them recovered. The paint doesn't feel crusty or icky, and the coverage is amazing. (We are doing black on faded black.) So far it doesn't seem that the paint comes off once it's dry, either. Super pleased.
This stuff works very well! I used it to re-dye a ball cap black that had faded from the sun. It's very easy to over apply, so be careful and do very light coats at 5 minute intervals. As long as you follow the directions, this stuff works very well. One can was just enough to put a few coats on my hat with a little bit let over, so depending on your item to be dyed, you may want to buy extra cans.
Works great! Will take quite a bit of cans for a big project. My stool for my vanity was gold and painted it over with the rose gold color. Came out great. I did use the whole can but it’s possible I didn’t need to. I just wanted to make sure that the color 100% colored the Gold and the color would show.
While living and working in Colorado, I was given this hat by a Colorado Department of Transportation worker in 2008. I was a contractor- their primary driver safety training instructor for 11 years, and made a lot of friends. The employees got hats every year at mandatory safety training gatherings in Denver. This hat was the best one they ever made, and I actually traded one on my company's hats for it, but I digress. It was a prized possession for me. I traveled all over the country doing safety training and I collected hats from travels even to Alaska. But this home grown Colorado hat was my favorite! I wore it extensively living and working in a higher altitude state and it got pretty faded over these 11 years. It was still black, but very faded and in spots almost more brown that black. Moved from Colorado to Massachusetts 3 years ago, so trading for another hat from a CDOT employee became impossible.
I was actually bummed out about it as the hat and where it represented (Colorado) had great sentimental value for me as well.
I saw a review and instructional video on the internet about this product, and all I can say is- that review and the actual visible outcome of the product was amazing!
So, I used it for my extremely faded and deeply coveted CDOT hat. It looks brand new! Apart from painstakingly masking the entire hat logos, the process was very easy and smooth and the results are incredible! I highly recommend this product- well, at least in making old hats look brand new again.
This worked best for me using it to stencil blue stripes on a canvas chair. I wasted one can attempting to do a solid color on another cushion. Yes, the paint may "spit" out at times, so be prepared to stop and spray off to the side. There isn't a lot of paint in one of these cans, therefore be prepared to buy twice what you think you'll need. I really am happy with the stripes on my chair cushion. It's gone from boring to nautical in 40 minutes.

The color and sparkle is pretty but it does not go very far at all. This is a good product it was just not right for my project.
This product provided a very rich color that instantly renewed my faded clothes
Easy to apply, no drips, dries soft. Several light coats are best. I used this to cover a pink Kool-aid stain on a kid's mattress (see why we don't allow food and drinks in your rooms, kids?), and it worked very well.
Love this spray! Needed it to cover a light spot on my carpet and blended in perfectly with no rub off or transfer.
Messed up my white fabric shoes by spraying a protective coat over it. The shoe spray worked great to cover it up, but wasn’t quite the bright white I needed to restore it to the original white.
