These are handy, attractive little pouches that are great for students. I put my pens/highlighters in one pouch, and my headphones/charging cords in the other, and with that I'm good to go! The zippers are smooth, the material seems sturdy, and the dark grey mottled color means you can keep them in your backpack and they won't pick up too much dirt.
The pouches are not that big--I can fit my macbook charger, iphone charger, and a set of earbuds in one pouch, if I pack up the cords neatly. I wouldn't recommend these for cosmetics necessarily because of the narrow width.
If packed a certain way, then the pouches will stand up on a table on their own, but I don't think they're necessarily designed that way. They do tend to fall over.
For my purposes, though, they are great! And they don't *look* like your typical pencil pouch.
I love this product because of its simple design and small size for easy storage. I’m a college student who uses many pens and writing utensils in lectures to take notes, and this case helped me organize everything much better than the pockets in my backpack. It easily fits in my jansport backpack, and can hold 12 pens, 3 pencils, 2 markers, and 1 eraser with mush space left over.
The only negative thing that I found with this case is that I paid for 2 of them. I ended up giving the 2nd case to a friend as a gift, but would have much rather paid half the cost for only 1 case as opposed to 2.
Overall great quality and functionality!
I somehow managed to miss the detail that this is a two pack of pencil cases so I was pleasantly surprised upon receiving them. This is my second ProCase bag so I knew I was more than likely receiving a great product.
The Product pictures clearly show the caaes. One has a black zipper pull while the other is brown. That's exactly what you'll receive! What isn't shown is that the bottom of each will match the color of the zipper pull.
The felt is actually a tad more rigid than I was expected, but, for me that's a plus. I'm sure over time they will become a tad more flexible. Not a big deal. I'm just used to felt being thin and flimsy. This is not that.
I use one bag for my pencils/pens, and the other as a make-up bag. Here are a few things I enjoy about these bags:
(1) The bag is washable! Plastic pencil bags can work well too, but then you have to work hard at scrubbing the inside if your pen leaks, and that can be time consuming. I mentioned I use one as a make-up bag, and the other as a pencil/pen bag. If my make-up or ink has leaked, I just throw it in the washing machine and it's ready to reuse.
(2) The material is thick, therefore my pencils don't stab through the material. Also, it helps with leaking issues that may arise. I've had pencil cases that were made with thinner material and it would leak out. I haven't had too much experience with this issue; however, when my ink leaked out of my pen while using this product, the leak stayed inside the bag and didn't penetrate through.
(3) The bags are spacious, but still fit in my smallest purse.
(4) There are two!
Great quality on the felt! It’s got the perfect amount of thickness, and the size fits my needs exactly. It’s not too small or too large. I use it to carry my phone charger and ear buds (+ other extraneous stuff like lip balm, small travel hand lotion, etc). I love that there are two bags, so one is used for my ‘junk’ and the other used for my pens and pencils. The functionality is great, and on top of it all it is also super stylish at the same time!

These cases pleasantly surprised me. They'e attractive, well made and highly functional. I needed a storage pouch for a new magnifying glass I purchased and these (just used one) worked perfectly.
For what it's worth I'm a senior mechanical design engineer with two (working on three) registered US patents with a keen eye for detail.
These cases are exactly what I wanted. I'm using one now and holding on to the other. I don't use it for school supplies, but, rather for small items that would be "floating" around in my purse (make up, extra keys, lip balm, etc.) I was looking for something that would fit easily into my purse as well as having durable sides. The one I had previously was fine size=wise but had "floppy" sides and always seemed to be in the way. So, this case is perfect. I'm delighted with this purchase.
This years, heading into local event season, I decided to reduce single use plastics we always get from food vendors. We needed cases to hold our utensils and keep our bags clean. These are very nice. Too small to hold steel straws but for a spork, and hand wipes these work. Still deciding on which chopsticks to pack along tho, these are too small for my steel hashi a great friend brought back from N Korea
If they work for our eating utensils they will work great for your collection of pens and pencils.
I use this pouches for my pen selections (for bullet journal and other uses) and the quality is fantastic! I really am impressed with how great it is. I would recommend this! (It sure beats using the cheap versions of pencil pouches) The quality of the zipper, stitching and overall is excellent!
These are the perfect size to collect small items that would otherwise be unfindable in a large purse. The bag material is nice and thick, and the bottom of each pouch has a different color strip of vegan leather (one saddle brown, the other black). You could even use one of the bags for a small clutch--it fits my iPhone 6s Plus and a few cards with some money.
