Our 9 year old Bischon is a picky eater, loves table scraps, which we have to stop doing, LOL, and vet recommended we buy a "senior" dog food and dump the corn filled Royal Canin. So I looked around and read up on what quality/ingredient foods were available on Amazon, as our Petsmart does'nt stock a variety of "quality" dog foods, so I decided on trying one bag of this, and HE LOVES IT! I was amazed and grateful, and the kibble is not hard as a rock and a good size for his "older" teeth. Will definitely be ordering again.
We are beyond thrilled with this food! I met a man (Rocque.. he works for the company) who was telling me about it. I decided to give it a try. After one week our 15 year old GSP stopped waking us up at night, his ears aren't bothering him anymore, and seems his hips are feeling better! His coat had become extremely dry recently and I am shocked to see it coming back! I am so thankful we ordered it!! I wish I would have known about this product earlier!
Moving our dog from Orijen, simply due to cost. He seems to enjoy this food just as much, and the ingredients aren't too bad (though not as comprehensive or 'all natural' as Orijen). The caveat being that the pieces of kibble are very small. I actually double checked the bag to make sure it wasn't for cats. The kibble size may not be a problem for most dogs, but our pup tends to inhale his food without chewing much (if at all). Just a small concern. May have to throw a ball in his bowl to slow down his eating. Otherwise, pretty happy.
We have seen a dramatic improvement in our 15-year "puppy" since switching her to Nulo. She now takes the stairs with ease and her coat is beautiful. It has been remarkable.
When my female started to gain weight, I decided to try this. Both of my dogs have been on dry salmon kibble of very high quality, so I was a little skeptical at first. First, she loves it. This food is extremely high quality and contains all the best ingredients and supplements to keep my pups healthy! The recipe is agreeable for all of my dogs and their sensitivities to other proteins.
This food is excellent! My dogs are 11lb and 30lb. The 11 lb dog is not a senior but the 30lb dog is. I feed them both this food and have seen an improvement in energy and ease of movement. I think this is a good food for any dog that may have some stiffness.
My dog is 13 yrs old and around 80 lbs. He was moaning, having loose stools and have difficulty jumping onto my bed. I'm not sure if it was his stomach or joints causing him to be so uncomfortable but after changing his food to Nu-lo he is no longer moaning and groaning. He can get onto my bed and his stool is normal. It is a bit pricey but that's a small consideration for him to be more comfortable and happy
I use the Nulo Senior for my pups (they are 8+) My girls love the smell and flavor. They were eating way too much....<smile>. I have had to watch how much I give them...Great food. I love that it is an Austin TX product!
My dog is a 12 year old Cokapoo who is the pickiest eater! We have tried nearly 16 foods from dry to wet we had him on Fromm which he likes but I wanted to change it nulo since he is considered a senior dog. I was a bit worried but once we made the change slowly he loves this food! I wanted something that would support his joints and keep him energetic this does just that plus he cleans his bowl!
