Magic Chef MCSTCW20W4 White Compact Top-Load Washer

Very quiet and has many options. I use the quick cycle. Clothes are clean and minimally damp!! Great Spin!!! My clothes come out ready to hang dry. Towels dry very quick...don’t have to use dryer...love it. Perfect size for mom with child or Couple!!! Not too big not too small. You can see and feel the quality!!!

Received product and box was all smashed up. Unboxed and side was pretty badly dented but checked and it did not interfere with basket. Hooked up quickly where our old washer was. Needed to fully clean out drum because of shipping damages cause the basket to be filled with bits of packing material. Did three loads under 5lbs with out an issue. Fourth was three pairs of jeans and two towels, set according to manual but did not extract much water, needed a second spin so that they would dry. All in all for price and size it does a good job, would not try a comforter in it though. If it holds up for the next six months we may add a portable dryer and rack.

It’s big and good, not more laundry outside for me , I will buy with dryer but is not so necessary the clothes are almost dry

I love this easy to use but to move it around easier i coukd gett the magic cheff dolly

Great machine. Super quiet and easy to use

Bought mine from Walmart but just had to leave a review.
I received an intact product with no dents or damages and this review is based on that premise.

The video says it all. Wash is impeccably clean, manual is very useful and easy to read. Set up is straight forward. The 2 cycle spin does and excellent job!
Altogether, I’m very pleased with this washing machine.
I’m withholding one star just because I haven’t used for long, but so far I have a 5 star experience!

Hi. I bought both the Magic Chef 2.0 cu ft. portable washer and 2.6 cu ft dryer at Walmart, so no damage, great packaging, extended warranty, and a brick & mortar to return it to if needed. Then I got the MC laundry rack for $50 at home depot, unfortunately realizing too late that they had the washer/dryer cheaper there than Walmart too. Everything was bought around Christmas time, so there might have been better deals. I paid about $522 total for w/d.
I have been using this washer for a few weeks. Just 2 if us in the apt. and I wash 3 times a week. Just to make sure I maintain it well I made sure to read the manual completely. It has no agitator, which leaves more room for more items. Also, because of that, the washing rhythm is a pulse action. Just imagine Chubby Checker's twist at per 2 second speed and you got the image. There is minimal noise, quiet even, much less than a dish washer and not enough to disturb neighbors. Each cycle can be run individually or as a whole. It has a powerful spin cycle so that clothes come out minimally damp when done. Follow the directions! Make sure washer is level and only 3/4 full or you'll be mopping up a swimming pool. I setup the washer in the kitchen, but the adapter that came with the washer did not fit my faucet. It looked like DANCO Dishwasher Snap Coupling Adapter from Amazon. At first, washing with water turned on continuously, there would be leaking at the faucet on low pressure, spurting when the machine was not drawing water. Then after using it some more, the adapter would blow clean off. So I bought the Smartfresh 7 piece adapter kit from Amazon. I also figured I'm a renter, so I might need the variety of adapters for new places. I was going to try the Danco Multi thread Garden Hose Adapter from Amazon, but to my surprise there was an adapter in the kit that looked just like it. That was the one that fit on the faucet. No leaking whatsoever. I had my hot and cold water turned on all the way using one intake hose at full pressure attached to the cold valve and that was a lot! Washer came with 2 quality intake hoses and one cheap looking drain hose. I just protect the hot intake using the intake cap, since I am able to get hot or cold from the kitchen faucet. I am now able to run it on full automatic instead of drawing buckets. The intake hose is probably a couple feet, which is long enough to reach my faucet, but the drain hose is too short, like 4 feet maybe. The washer has 2 adjustable back wheels, but I never used them. Even though I bought the Stalwart Rolling Dolly Cart before purchasing the washer, which makes it easier to maneuver it, I don't like the idea of having to put it in front of my kitchen sink during wash. It takes up much space that way. I bought another drain hose planning to replace it but the only video I saw for a portable washer involve opening up the machine. I didn't want to possibly void the warranty. I read reviews where other people just did a simple switch, but I might just use it to extend the discharge hose. I’ll see if it works out. I make sure clean the lint traps on both for each use. Keep in mind that the trap for the dryer is inside of the dryer. Due to other helpful reviews, I also got an indoor dryer ventilation kit and a stainless steel kitchen sink strainer to catch excess lint, from Amazon. Can’t clog the plumbing! I am also considering a stainless steel retractable clothesline.

I just adore this washer! It fits in my bathroom, along the side wall. I bought an appliance dolly for it that was recommended on another seller site, so it is extremely easy to move. I have not tried moving it with the two rear wheels. I roll it to the sink and tub area, for use, and hook up the water to the sink, and have it drain into the tub. I made a hose drain filter out of two stocking socks, doubled and attached with a wide rubber band that comes on broccoli. That is important, as otherwise, lint ends up in the tub, and it gets to be a mess. This does such a nice job of cleaning, and cleans a surprisingly large amount. I even washed a queen comforter in it, with no problem. Before running for this large load, I added a bit of extra water from the massage shower head that is on an extension hose. A couple of quarts, I'd say. I add Borax to soften the water and use the delay soak, and always the extra rinse, and use the bulky setting, and it gets everything really clean. It's extremely energy efficient, according to the enclosed energy sheet. Whenever I do get a laundry room, I will be able to hook it up to the regular washer water connections, as it is made to fit them, as well as connecting to a faucet with the adapter. I just love my washer. One of the best little investments I have made.
