I like it, as of now that is. I like how sturdy it feels, and the ease to install, however, I don't know about long term though. The suction comes with a gel with which I feel that long term, if I were to remove it, it might damage the dashboard, or wherever you put that isn't glass. Not sure yet.
The instructions are relatively simple, it should be a little more elaborate though because I didn't know I had to put the gear into the bearing the first time around until I searched for some Youtube videos, and they explained that you needed it.
This is it for me so far, with so many options and price range out there it wasn't simple to pick one but I finally went with this windshield phone mount since a friend had one. It's neatly put together and ready to install, once you put it there you forget about it and does the job when you need it everytime fast and simple. It can hold my S8 and my Note 8 without a problem while being able to tilt and rotate without clicking buttons or release mechanisms. Very intuitive operation, I'm loving it.
Mounts easily following the instructions. I mounted mine to my windshield. I have to admit I was nervous at first but this thing is sturdy. I actually tried to take it off once to clean the windshield and I couldn't remove it. I'm sure if I really needed to remove it I could but why mess with such a strong seal. My phone has a leather wallet case but it grips it just fine. I just have to make sure I insert it properly. My phone fell once but I must admit that was my fault. I was rushing and didn't make sure it had a good grip. It doesn't take much to put your phone in and remove it. The process is very quick and easy. I drive quite a bit so I am very pleased thus far.
This holds my 6s plus with lifeproof case well. It is just about as wide as the product can go when it grabs the phone. I took away one star because it's not as easy to pull the phone out and not drop it as some other mounts. Excellent suction!
This sticks perfectly to my dash. Has not moved. And I have a Samsung S8+ with a heavy otterbox case.
I love the clips to easily remove the phone.

I bought this as a replacement to my previous iOttie model that is no longer being made. So far, I have had no complains. It vibrates and moves a bit more than the old model, but my iPhone X has been safe and has not slipped out of the holder. I love the fact that the sticky pad is replaceable.

I have a Samsung S9 Plus and it fits this car mount. I love the 360 and 180 turn options. I can turn it towards me, the passenger, make it come out more or further away. I love the fact that I can adjust it any direction I like. I can turn it portrait or landscape. Love everything about this item!
Love this one even better that the original model it replaced. It is extremely simple to install and operate.
