I have had my new oven installed for about 3 months now and I just love it! I have not used the convection feature yet, but I know I'll like that too. I have had no problems with it. Plenty of cooking space to make a complete Thanksgiving dinner all at one time. :)
I've only used this oven 4 times since installation and it seems to be working as advertised. Great looking & full featured. Can't wait to try steam cleaning.
Awesome oven! Works wonderfully, looks good! The only downside was that the man from delivery company would not (could not) carry it up our stairs. I had the guy deliver it to our side yard, then arranged for a couple of strong men to carry it up 15 steps and into our kitchen. I had a local appliance repair man install it and it has been great! Arrived right before Thanksgiving and proved its worth on Thanksgiving dinner, turkey and all!
Even though it was the same size as the previous oven, it did require some cutting to fit properly. Finish on the outside of oven really hides fingerprints. Takes a little while to heat up, but works perfectly.
After I got my microwave I read the specifications a little closer on the Amazon page. The stainless steel microwave is only 900 watts, not the 1000 watts shown for the black and the white 1.1 microwave. Also, the stainless steel 1.1 microwave's number pad is not the same as all the other ones. It does not have any express cooking keys or the 30 second key...I really miss those! When we weren't using it, if we were walking across the kitchen floor, we could hear a rattling noise. On closer inspection we found the glass plate is a little warped. That isn't really a problem, because I can use the plate out of our old microwave that quit working. If I had the opportunity to do this over again, I would purchase the white 1.1 cu. ft. microwave.

We love our new microwave! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this machine. It works great, and was delivered speedily. Thank you, Danby, for an affordable microwave that really works well!
Then the Danby would be used in my studio. Except for its smaller capacity, it does everything and does it well. I would recommend it for those with limited space and to anyone who doesn't need room for some larger containers to fit in their microwave. It is a convenient size that doesn't overwhelm your counter top.
