Great Cooktop. Replaced glass IR cooktop due to safety issues with it. This was easy to install and fit the dimensions of a 30 inch cut out perfectly. The only negative is the moronic way the manufacturer supplies to anchor it to the cabinetry and countertop. You will need at least 3 inches of space on the sides for the anchors to fit, so if you have a walled cabinets underneath like 99% of kitchens do, then the anchors will likely not work. I used a low bond adhesive on the lip of the counter to provide adhesion, it is pretty heavy and not going to move once set.
Love this cooktop. Very sleek and modern looking. Easy to lite and easy to clean. The burners are very powerful on high but turn down to a perfect low simmer. However the stainless steel surface does tend to scratch easily so if you have any messes that need to be scrubbed you need to use a soft plastic scrub pad. Also would not recommend for households with small children. The knobs are right up front and very easy to lite so you'd have to be extra careful or put a guard up on your counter
Great product - was easy to install but I did have to cut a bit more out of my granite to meet the minimum specs. If you’re doing the install yourself: The pressure regulator is recommended for both natural gas and LP - I confirmed with Fridgidare after I found considerable debate in forums.
The replacement install would have taken 20 minutes if not for the need to expand the existing cutout. The quality on this produce is excellant and comparable with models much more expensive. I compared several other models from GE, Bosch, etc...this came out on top and at a lower cost. Center burner is great and despite the size, the use of space allows for multiple burner use without feeling crowded. Arrived in perfect condition.
I have had this cooktop for about a month now. Overall, I like it. It does scratch easily so be careful when cleaning. The middle burner is great to boil water in a hurry. Thats the best part! However the middle burner is difficult to turn on - it doesn't ignite the first 2-3 tries. Usually by the 4th attempt I can get the flame going. Thats the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars!
I love having the 5 burners. The knobs are solid metal - no plastic, so clean up is easy with no concern about "cleaning away the settings". The only drawback is that water that has boiled over, can leave rings that are hard to clean. Perhaps I haven't found the right product to clean it with yet. But overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

UPDATE 11/28/16: I love the center burner, but last night I had two skillets on the center & front left plus a small sauce pan going on the front right. I've never been able to cook so effectively because those back burners, let's face it, aren't as convenient to use. It's wonderful. If you only have the space for a 30" cooktop, this one is a great option. It makes cooking fun!!!
Works and looks terrific. The two drawbacks were the gas fitting pointing directly down prevented the existing drawer underneath to close fully. I changed the gas fitting with an 90 degree elbow to facilitate the drawer. Secondly, the under counter retaining bracket supplied didn't accommodate our new granite countertop and had to be left off. Once installed. We truly love it.
So far, I have absolutely no complaints. It does everything I want it to do - the way I want it to do it. I love it. I love how it looks. It cleans like a dream. Everyone thinks it's a pretty as I do. The Amazon price was great, delivery, perf. What more could I ask? - I just hope it continues this way for years. If it does, I'm a happy camper.
Good product with a good price. My only complaint is that the center grate broke the first time I used the center burner. I had the stove for less than a month at that time. I have asked Amazon twice to put me in touch with Prime Appliances so that I can get a replacement grate. They have not responded so I am going to have to pay for a replacement grate. Other than this issue I have no complaints. I would recommend this product.
Absolutely LOVE this cooktop. Easy to install, beautiful, love the versatility while cooking. Easy to clean. Fabulous addition to our kitchen.
