It took us forever to get this thing, but it's great! It's a top rated model by Consumer Reports, at about half the price of many of its competitors. The "power boil" setting is great: a small amount of water can be boiling in about 30 seconds! We've had it for a month or so. If something changes I'll update this.
Some other reviewers complain about the noise. It is noticeable (more so in power boil), but it doesn't bother us at all, and if the overhead vent fan is going, even on low, you can hear the stove at all. Overall, extremely happy with the purchase.
Not quite the style we wanted but it fit the hole in the counter and was easy to install and has worked very well so far. One thing is the packaging was half opened when arrived, needs to be taped better, but no damage.
Superior to radiant heat cooktop, worth every penny, this thing is legit
This induction cook top looks great, very easy to clean (no knobs), and boils water amazingly quickly. A soft humm on high power that is not bothersome. So 5 stars except the installation instructions say to order a special kit if installing on a granite counter. The kit costs $133 and consists only of 2 tubes of adhesive and 6 pieces of thin metal - about $20 if purchased separately. And the metal pieces didn't even fit this model! Back it went, but I still had to pay $17 shipping each way. Installation went just fine without the kit anyway.
BTW I got this for a few $ less and faster delivery at Home Depot...
