We purchased this fridge for use down at our dock on the St. Johns River. It keeps the beverages cold, even in the hot Florida summer. It's a good sized fridge and will hold quite a few drinks (basically that is all we're using it for - sodas, water, beer, Gatorade & wine for guests while on our dock or out on the boat). It is stored on the dock in the "boathouse" area (meaning it has a roof covering it but is otherwise open it outside conditions).
The biggest reason for my 5 star review is that we experienced Hurricane Irma 2 weeks ago. During the storm, the water in the river climbed to record levels. We had tied the chairs down to the dock, but never thought the water would come up enough to make the refrigerator FLOAT all over the dock. It banged around on the dock area (into the boat, into the dock box that floated away, into a huge bait tank that eventually floated away and various debris from the storm).
We watched it for 4 hours until the winds/rains calmed down enough for us to go rescue it. It had unplugged itself when it floated and we thought we lost the cord, however when we checked it, everything looked fine. Our only loss from the fridge was a bottle of wine that had been opened. The banging around while it was floating caused the cork to come out. When we opened the fridge - there was no water inside and only the dregs of a good bottle of Cab. We put the fridge up on top of the chairs and let it dry out.
After letting it "air dry" for almost two weeks, we plugged it back in and it's working like a charm!
Thank you Bull Outdoor for a quality product! I'm sure you didn't design it to float around during a hurricane, but it did and held together! To anyone considering purchasing this product - I HIGHLY recommend it. It's durable and keeps the beer cold!
Ordered a new one after the previous same one lasted 5 years. It works very well for the price. Set it at 6 to get it freezing and then back off to around 4 to prevent frosting on the inside rear. There isn’t perfect coverage - as drinks in the center-rear will tend to freeze at the coldest setting, but perfect for a weekend party.
Just do not put non alcoholic beverages in here if you plan on keeping it on the coldest setting.
The back of the fridge on the inside built up frost and froze the soda bottles while the beer was awesome.
Non alcoholic drinks are best on the 3-4 setting while alcohol was best on 5, the highest
I received the fridge as scheduled. No damage. Proceeded to bring it to my pool area ( totally exposed to the elements) and fill it with some water bottles and of course beer. I set the gauge to max of 6 and as stated in the instructions within 2 hours the water was COLD. BTW it was 90 degrees and very humid. Last night it poured for 3 hours and the fridge is still working great. Today the water is somewhat frozen so I'll back it down to a 4. But so far so good. Very pleased and surprised considering the high heat.
Works great. Replaced an older Bull fridge that was used for about 8 years, fits perfectly. Keeps the beer very cold!

This is a great refrigerator and has keep my drinks cold on the patio all summer long here in Florida. I was worried with out heat, but it has not been an issue for this great refrigerator.
This will keep your beers nice and cold, you could also use as a freezer.
This one replaced my original Bull outdoor refrigerator that I owned for 7 years. The old one still cooled, but would not shut off. All in all not bad after 7 years in Tucson, Arizona outside all year round. It got so hot during the summer that some of the plastic on the refrigerator melted.
took two attempts, though the second unit is working great. Replacing a 15 year old outdoor min-frig (5-8 years avg life). First Bull made rattling noise (compressor) and was returned. Replacement unit very quiet, cold, working fine...
