I've never had any of these before, so I can't compare to the brand name versions. Anyhow, I've used them on several projects with double pointed needles (hat and socks). The large size fits quite tightly on my US 9, laminated wood needles. I have to use the small size on my very pointy US 8, metal needles in order for them to stay on. I was also surprised that they also fit on my US 0, metal needles as well!
The only downside is that they are very rubbery and the yarn tends to catch on them rather than glide over them. But I suspect the rubbery-ness is what keeps them on so well! I have had a few issues with them popping off, so I have to make sure I push them on really hard.
I love these! They keep my stitches on my needles when I put my knitting aside. They don't fall off like some other's that I've had. These work!
What can I say?! These knitting needle points really DO the trick.

Nice point protectors of a softer plastic that hold tight but release easily. Multiple sizes make it easier to go from socks, to mittens, to hats.

I absolutely love these knitting needle caps. There are a number included in the pack, with varying sizes and colors. It makes it much easier to tote around a craft project so the needles don’t stick through a bag. The price is so good, I ordered another set.
These holders really stick on knitting needles to keep stitches from sliding off. This package has a good selection of various sizes and colors. I bought this after finding a package of 4 at a leading brick and mortar store for 2x the price of this set of 20. I highly recommend this set!
I love these so much!! They are a life saver to keep your stitches on the needles. These ones actually stay put too!! I have tried a lot of the brands you can get at big box craft stores and they all pop off the needles if you barely touch them or even look at them the wrong way.

I was making a hat in the round and there were enough stitches on each double pointed needled that they kept falling off. It was frustrating. I knew needle protectors existed and assumed they were exactly what I needed. I was right. Once I had these, my knitting was a breeze. No more stitches falling off which meant I could achieve a better looking hat in a faster time.
Look closely at the small picture that depicts that there are only TWO colors offered not a rainbow. Other wise exactly as described and there are indeed two sizes.
