This is pretty awesome! I came to the conclusion after a divorce, why not use your silver everyday instead of just holidays? So I took a simple silverwear organizer tray from target and lined it with this fabric very simply with a glue gun tacking it at the edges. Voila a beautiful drawer that truly looks spectacular with my silver.. and yes it works no tarnish and it's been over a month! Very happy:)
This product met my expectations and I would buy it again... the first time around I bought three yards and was able to make bags for all my silver pieces. There is a specific scent, but not overbearing, coming from the cloth which I believe is the component to making the cloth work at keeping tarnish at bay.... if you wash the fabric, you will wash the chemical out....Don't do that. As for the fabric, it is a thicker felt and once cut, you have cut through the fibers creating raw edges.....if you shake it vigorously, it's going to fray on you.... but why should you shake it vigorously, no need for that.....I surged my edges so that wouldn't happen. I am very, very pleased.
My Mother purchased this cloth 20 years ago for me. With it she made sufficient bags to hold all the table flatware, I have never fully cleaned my silver since, apart from the odd forks and serving spoons that have come into contact with tarnishing foods. It is amazing as I use this tableware at least once a month. The cloth keeps the silver in such good condition, as if it had just been freshly cleaned. I also use it to wrap silver trays, teapots etc. It is so good. So when one of my daughter-in-laws told me she didn't use their silver as it was always needing cleaning, I purchased this recent order. I sewed her similar bags and we spent a pleasant afternoon catching up while we cleaned her silver, very pleasant indeed, with the knowledge that we wouldn't have to do it again for quite some time! She now enjoys using it for regular dinner parties.
Love this stuff for keeping silver tarnish free, at least for awhile. Am polishing all my mother's and grandmother's sterling and found I needed to make sure it didn't get dirty before I finished doing all of it. Am making bags for all the many pieces. It's great.
This cloth really works ! I line my jewelry boxes with it, and cover the jewelry with an additional piece. You get a good amount of cloth, for the money.

I bought the fabric to make bags for a silver tea set. The fabric seemed to be a good quality and the price was reasonable. It’s too soon for me to tell how well it will prevent tarnishing, but I feel comfortable that the pieces will be protected during storage.
This silver cloth was perfect for stitching up storage bags for my silver service. I'm thinking of ordering more to create drawer liners for some misc. silver flatware. (Infused silver cloth bags save on the need for frequent polishing!

My husband made me a hidden built in Jewlery cabinet between the wall studs. We lined it with this fabric. My silver accessories require very little polishing.
Attractive. Middling at preventing tarnish--but probably no worse in that respect than any competing product.
