I was searching for a good clear storage case for my washi tape. I checked out the local big box stores for plastic hardware and fishing boxes but they were too shallow to fit the larger rolls of the Scotch brand washi which are 1 7/8" in diameter. This plastic storage box is 2" deep and accommodates the larger rolls perfectly. The lid seems sturdy and secure with two snap locks on the front. I haven't had to adjust the dividers at all yet but they are straight and not warped at all. It serves my purpose for now and I feel it will for quite a while.
personallly use these to store my washi tape and so far it works good. i removed all the small dividers and only use the 3 horizontal ones. the areas that have notches for the small dividers do stick out more than i'd like but so far my washi tape fits okay. the long horizontal dividers are sturdy enough to keep in its place but its also giving and will bend out if something is too wide. most of my washi are from simply guilded and some other etsy or shopify stores but the 2 scotch brand tapes that i picked up from target are much too wide to sit vertically like the rest are set up. i also needed something that would snap shut because i dont have a desk or craft area so this needs to be travel friendly and able to be put on its side without all the tapes falling out. it works for my use and im happy with it thus far.
I bought this for washi tape. I was concerned if it would be big enough. It turned out to hold all the washi I wanted it for, with a few sections left empty. It's a decent size and the bottom part that holds the tape seems durable. I am worried about the lid, more specifically the plastic hinges. They're thin and I fear they may not last, but it's a cute box, and I'm glad I bought it.
This grid box is good quality and works great for organizing tape, or anything you want... being able to adjust the compartment side is a great feature. I did feel like it was pricy for plastic, but I'm happy with my purchase.
Love the adjustability of the box. The slides go to the bottom of the groves making the compartments secure and the items contained neatly.
