ZAZZ Wall Mount for iPad/ Kindle and Tablets (Black)

It fits my old iPad 3 perfectly, and was no problem to install onto the wall. In short, it does exactly what I wanted it to do. However, I do have one question: what is the Allen wrench for? None of the pictorials or other instructions show it or even mention it, but it was included in the package; I can see nothing in the assembly that looks like it would require an Allen wrench. Perhaps a smarter person than I can explain...

Performs as expected, good quality.

Exactly what I was looking for!

Once you figure this mount out, it holds pretty securely. I found you really need to get the rotating arms adjusted perfectly with the corners of the tablet seated firmly into the little pads before you tighten down the straight hook, otherwise your tablet will try to slip out.

I'm a bit disappointed in the mounting option for the wall piece. The two screws are way overkill for a ~1lb tablet. I wasn't willing to put two big screw holes in the wall just for that. I picked up some big 3M Command Strips at the store and used that to mount the wall piece instead. It may not be quite as secure as the screws, but I'm confident it will hold just fine. I have used Command Strips for much bigger/heavier items and never had any issue.

I use these mounts for my home automation tablets, and they are a much better solution than the older self adhesive Brackets I used to use. Installation takes a bit more work, but the final installation is much neater. The mount supports a variety of different sizes.

Perfect

works as expected!

I have always wanted a holder that would fit my iPad or tablet on the wall. This ZAZZ holder is worth waiting for. It fits between 8.9" to 10.4" tablets and only weighs 5.9 ounces.

As we all know, they keep changes the sizes of iPads and other tablets. Being adjustable is a must - and this is. I was able to use it with different generations of iPads and they were securely held. It is important to follow the instructions for affixing the wall mount on the wall. The bracket fits onto the mount and can be turned to either landscape or portrait view.

I have it mounted near my desk and can simply turn to it, touch the screen, and go to apps. One of my apps is a calculator - so I can punch in the numbers onto the touch screen and get the answer I am looking for. Being on the wall leaves my desk space clear. As with all tablets, you will need to recharge it - so think about that with your planning as well.

Overall, a great accessory to use for anyone who desires to mount their tablet on the wall!

Instead of a wall, we mounted this on a dresser. It was easy to install and worked perfectly on the dresser. Does just what it says it does. holds your tablet securely in place. Our only complaint is that, while secure, the iPad does wobble around a bit even with being securely in place. It's clearly designed even thicker tablets and that aspect isn't adjustable. Your table isn't going to fall out for sure, but as you go to tap the screen it moves forward and backward a bit. That's the only thing stopping it from being 5 stars. Still while the thickness it can hold isn't really adjustable, I'd still recommend it as it will fit most tablet without any issues. Also of note, while it's easy to get in and out of the stand, if you like to carry your tablet around in a case, it'd become a bit tedious. Probably best for people who want their tablet in a semi permanent setting.

It never occurred to me that I should wall mount a tablet until I received the ZAZZ Wall Mount. I usually toss the iPad on a high kitchen counter (where the pre-schooler set can't yet reach) when not in use. This location has continually annoyed me because a small NYC apt just doesn't have a lot of counter space or room in general. Now I have the iPad wall mounted in an accessible for cooking but not for grabbing kitchen location. I only wish I had thought of it a several years ago.

It's key that the ZAZZ is adjustable because my iPad 2 is on it's last legs and I may end up with a Kindle or other tablet next.
