Installing was OK.Had to rewire the plug and put an outlet on it.Before I used it I cleaned the cookie and sealed it with the whirlpool cleaning kit.I cooked several meals and it still looks like new out of the box.if something spills I wipe it while still hot. I don't know about all those reviews,people having a hard time cleaning.It looks great,it's super easy to clean and works!for all those people who don't like to clean and keep their Cooktop clean,there are plenty of restaurants out there and you don't have to worry about it!
Had stovetop for almost a year before my husband finally installed it. Takes a while to get used to after cooking on gas for most of my life. Love the look of it but it does seem to scratch fairly easy. Need to take extra care not to move pans around too much. Also the sooner you clean up messes the better as you don't want them to stain cooktop. Finding the right cleaner is important. Training husband to be extra gentle takes extra patience, but getting better.
Very nice cooktop, knobs work nicely, measurements are extremely accurate, this has a red wire, black wire and ground wire only, no white. Took about 1 hour to remove old one and install new one. We are very pleased with it. It seems to heat up very consistently.
I received my cooktop in perfect condition....the packaging was great. It is a beautiful item, and it heats up very quickly. Very, very happy I purchased this particular cooktop!
Unit came packaged very well and was a breeze to install. The only difference between this unit and it predecessor is the edges are not rounded which required a bit more routing on the counter top. Excellent but and fast delivery!!

I am very pleased with the product, I installed it myself in less than an hour. Directions were clear and easy to follow. Looks great and burners quickly get hot. Easy to read dials. Highly recommend.

The cooktop works well since we installed it. You don't have to worry about spills, like you do, with a electric-coil cooktop. However, keeping the black surface clean is a constant job...you might come out better with a white cooktop.
Cooks much better than old stovetop. I mean the heat is better regulated . Clean up is harder but we changed cleaners and it’s becoming easier.
