If you smoke any kind of meat like brisket or pork shoulder, you need this paper for holding/resting your meat. Foil isn't the answer. After seeing nationally recognized pit masters using this type of paper, I figured there was something to it, and there is. This particular paper is high quality and an excellent price.

I've used this for smoking on a smoker and also for resting non-smoked meat. Works as advertised.

It's also good for using between layers if you're transporting a lot of meat from one location to another. I had to smoke 40 chicken breasts for an event, and I used this paper between them to insulate and protect the 5 layers when I packed it away for transport.

Bryco seems like a committed seller that is willing to stand behind their product. Buy with confidence.

I smoke a lot of meats, and have always used aluminum foil to wrap meat (a.k.a., Texas crutch) for part of the cook. I decided to try butcher paper on ribs. It worked great. This butcher paper wrapped easily and stayed on. It does not crimp like foil wrap, but it hugged the ribs sufficiently. I was concerned that the juices would flow out of the paper and make a huge mess. No. The paper actually absorbed some of the juices and BBQ sauce and clung to the meat, keeping it insulated and moist. Even though the paper became wet and greasy, nothing leaked through the paper and into my smoker. The ribs were some of the most juicy ribs I've done. Highly recommended for BBQ smoking.

Product performed great. I used this paper to wrap up my meat when I smoke brisket, ribs, pulled pork instead of foil paper. Paper did not rip or burn after 10 hours of smoking. I look forward to purchasing this product again. Fast shipping and excellent customer service.

I used it for the first time this past weekend and absolutely love it. I was surprised that it held in the juice, kept the meat noticeably more moist and the smoke saturation was amazing. I can't wait to try it again!

I stumbled on the wrapping paper and was intrigued that you could smoke meat with wrapped in paper. I saw several reviews about people using it for this. I recently got a green egg and still learning how to use it.

I got some brisket seasoned and wrapped it. I put in the green egg adjusted the temperature for about 250 but stayed closer to 300 which was the best I could do.

I checked on it periodically and the paper had some oil on it but did not catch fire which was what I was afraid it might do.

I took the meet out after 6 hours and it was dripping with drippings in the paper. the meat was well cooked moist and better without the paper

Now I would try other things wrapped in it and see how they turn out.

so don't be skeptical like me if you have the thought of getting it at least mine did not catch fire but temperature never went above 400

Made a brisket and wanted to try to finish it off wrapped in this unwaxed butcher paper. Got it within 1 day (<24 hrs) of ordering! Good item as it was sturdy yet tore easily. Oh, yeah . . . the brisket (I made 3) came out perfectly.

This stuff works! I have never wrapped my brisket in anything other than this (my first brisket was done Super Bowl Week 2018) and since then I've smoked probably close to 20. I'm getting lots of compliments on them, and this is the only thing I use to wrap.

Made the best pulled pork I've ever had! Smoked unwrapped for 5 hrs, then wrapped and cooked for 5 more hours and the paper kept all the juice in the bottom so I saved the juice to make a soup base.

Great stuff. Always wrap my briskets for the last few hours of cooking. This papers holds up really well and keeps all the juices inside.
