The Oco Pro Bullet is an incredible security camera. The cloud storage keeps all of the recordings safe in case anything happens to the camera, and because it's weatherproof, the camera is perfect for installing outside of your home. We've been feeling so much safer ever since we set it up. We use it with the app Ivideon to see all of the past live stream videos. It's perfect! I'd love to even buy two more for my backyard too.
I am really happy with this camera. I have the older model as well. This new model has a wider lens, improved construction and wiring. The recording playback on the cloud using the ivideon website is not so great. It works but sometimes you have to be really patient in order for the footage to load. Also, you can download footage, but I don't think it's possible to download a still image (one frame). Not a big deal, because I just use a screen grab on my computer. The video footage itself is very clear and has a long depth of field. It's a great product for the price. I recommend it.
I got this for security reasons on my 10 acre farm. I like that it had motion sensor that takes a short video. This way i can see if there are any coyotes on my property or other intruders that are not wanted. The video quality is really good which is important.
This camera was very easy to set up & performs flawlessly. The images are very clear in the daylight hours but greatly diminished at night which is to be expected. In my opinion the camera does a great job & I highly recommend it.

The only thing I didn't like about it, the unit would not rotate in its base.

Only wish the mobile app was more user friendly.
Great product!
Well made, rugged, waterproof camera. High quality video, ease of camera connection to a home LAN and a good IOS App and PC software highlight this device. Installation of the camera and getting full use of the PC software provided some challenges. Some capabilities are free, like live video and limited duration event clips, but a paid cloud plan extends and expands these capabilities.
- Setup: Connection of the camera to my LAN was easy following the short but concise written instructions. This required using the provided Ethernet cable to connect the camera to one of my wireless router jacks. You must establish an account and to complete the setup on a PC. You must also record the MAC address of the camera. This is located on the camera and box but is in such small print I had a hard time getting correct. Ivideon, how about making the sticker larger in the box? Connection to my LAN and to my newly created account took about five minutes Once that's done you establish a wireless connection your LAN. This was easy as well and took another couple of minutes. To fully use the camera I must download and install Ivideon Server and Client Software to my PC. Once this was done you can adjust several camera settings, view recorded events, archive video, and watch live video.
- Camera Outdoor Installation: Somewhat of a challenge for a newby but not too difficult. An A/C adapter with a long 10 foot connector cord is supplied. This adapter and it's thin light duty power cord seem suited for indoor versus outdoor use. You will have to protect the adapter with a waterproof case or plug it into a waterproof covered outlet or it will likely get wet and short out. Find a spot well above ground where the camera cannot be tampered with. Locate where you can run power cord to an outlet. Camera is not battery powered or battery backed-up. The mounting plate does not separate from the camera so screwing in the supplied mounting screws took more time than it should working around the camera to get leverage and torque on the screw driver. The camera has limited swivel capability because of the ball mount mechanism so getting it positioned and aimed prior to mounting the plate was essential. Once mounted and connected the camera provided excellent live video.
- Software and IOS App: Connection to the camera for live viewing, motion detected recordings, and adjusting camera settings was easy. The software on a Windows 10 PC operated perfectly. Live and recorded event viewing on my iPhone 6s worked perfectly anywhere in or away from home. I'm still learning to use various software capabilities. Seems solid and reliable so far.
- Customer Service: Outstanding. I had several questions which I emailed to tech support. They responded within 24 hours with concise, accurate answers. I'm impressed.
- From tech support I learned the following:
1) Regarding motion detected recordings: "The event clips can't be deleted. They overwrite themselves according to the length of the pricing plan. For the free "Online" pricing plan events are overwritten within 1-2 days."
2) Regarding adjusting length of motion detected clips (i.e., someone walks up to your door): "The event clips are 10 seconds only. There is no possibility to increase their length." (Seems to apply even to paid Cloud Plans)
3) I installed a micro SD card but had no idea if it was working so I asked about it. "In case the SD card has been formatted, the recordings will start being saved on it. These recordings can be watched in your personal account (https://www.ivideon.com/my), Ivideon Client desktop app or Ivideon mobile app (the timeline under the camera). These recordings can also be exported. There is no option in Ivideon service that allows to see how much space is left on an SD card."
4) I asked if I could record live video and motion events directly to my Synology networked attached storage (NAS) system. "You can set up continuous recording to a PC's HDD using Ivideon Server programme." Synology NAS has not been tested but it might work.
Summary: Overall a very good system with exceptional day and good night video. Setup and installation were not difficult. I'm still learning the Ivideon Server Software and Client Software and will expand on that later. I'm still deciding if I will pay for a yearly cloud plan. They seem to charge by the camera so this could get expensive.
