It has taken me years to purchase this, and now that I have it...I LOVE IT!!! It is so nice to be able to read outside, unlike my tablet or my computer. This makes it easy for me to take with me wherever I go. I have to visit doctors so much, and it is nice to be able to have something that I like to read with me that isn't a big bulky book. Don't get me wrong I love my books, but it's easy to take this to the doctors and wherever I need to go, without having the heavy load or extra thing to carry. This fits in my pack and purse so easily and doesn't weigh much and I can have more books in it than just one, so if I get tired of reading one, I can start on another.
It is a very convenient way of getting my library to travel with me. Although, I wish I had a hard copy of every book I have, I know it's not possible because I don't have any place to put the books, and I don't have the money to get all them. I would definitely be lost if, we lost all electronics, because I have over 2000 books on kindle and well, I would miss having the ability to read on the go, without having tons of extra books to carry with me.
I have to say the battery is great and does last a week, unless you are downloading books to it. I am also glad to have the unlimited storage for my books with amazons cloud storage for it.
Maybe some day I will have my own book library...but for now...I have the library of my dreams.
Many Blessings,

Purchased this for my Kindle Paperwhite after reading all the customer reviews. Since I use contact paper (sticky-backed paper) for a lot of craft projects, I figured this screen protector is no different ... just smaller in size. For those wanting to buy it for the first time or even to purchase a new protector for your Kindle, my words of caution are ... TAKE YOUR TIME! Don't be in a rush to put this on otherwise you will end up with a lot of air bubbles on your screen. Start with one corner and slowly and smoothly keep brushing this film down. S-L-O-W-L-Y. I manged to put mine on in about two minutes time and only ended up with one teeny tiny bubble. Love that this protector works so well on the Kindle screen. Yes, I would buy this product again.
The Kindle is a must-have for any reader. The Paperwhite is a must-have for any reader that doesn't want to annoy their spouse with reading lights in bed. The lighting is superb. The proprietary font is easy to read. Best of all, you can actually read this in direct sunlight. On these cold Alaskan days, it's nice to be able to sit by a window with sunlight coming in and read. Finally, the cost of books makes this a no-brainer. My printed Bible (HCSB Study Bible) cost over $60. I bought the Kindle version for $2.99. The Bible is one book that I prefer to have in print (mostly for tradition and for the off-chance that a solar flare wipes out the grid), but this illustrates the point. After buying four or five books, the Paperwhite device pays for itself. It's a great product. Amazon is in a league of its own with e-reader technology.
Other than having a few bubbles; This screen protector is doing it's job quite well. It took me a minute to figure out how to install it, but I managed to fudge my through it the first try. Here are my installation instructions. Hold protector face up (you'll be able to read the numbers on tab on tab 1 and tab 2). Pull tab 1 off. Place the protector so the sticky side is against the PaperWhite face. Very gently place just the extreme edge of the bottom part of the protector onto your Kindle. Take your time to line it up to the best of you ability. Press down starting from the bottom, slowly pushing any bubble out as you proceeded. Once you're satisfied with the the looks of the bottom 3rd of the the protector, pull tab two down and towards the center of your Kindle. The rest of the sticky side is now ready to be attached also. After you are happy with the way the sticky side is attached to the screen... Pull off tab 3... and you are done.
This is a beggar to put on, but I suppose they all are. At least they send you three, so you can go disastrously wrong twice before you waste your money! One on, they disappear and you're left wondering what you just spent the last 30 minutes of your life doing....but that's what they're supposed to do.
On the plus side, they DO peel up nicely when you get it wrong, but unless you avoided all the dust, the first one has to be sacrificed to the learning-curve.

Test
It would have been nice if the card that comes with the e-reader had instructions not only regarding how to turn it on and where to charge it, but also how to turn it off (without having to read the Guide); I had no idea what to do with those plastic sheets - the little tabs made no sense to me. I finally called the Help-number and was connected with someone in India, with a very bad accent and worse phone connection. After much back and forth I finally understood that I was to pull the tabs and I would have a two Screen Protectors. And I was instructed how to turn off the tablet. I still don't know what to do with those two half-sheets! As I said, the initial instructions are very poor. I am not familiar enough with Kindle Paperwhite to have a relevant opinion.
I'm not terribly computer literate and when I was faced with putting on this screen protector, I didn't have a clue how to do it. However, it comes with instructions which are perfect and I did a perfect job -- no bubbles or anything. An excellent product!
This Kindle Screen Protector was purchased for my new Kindle Paperwhite since it is a touch screen. This item came with 3 screen protectors, a cleaning cloth and a hard card for smoothing out bubbles, but NO instructions. Each protector comes in a clear protective sleeve and is covered with 2 clear pieces of plastic, each of them being labeled with a number - 1 is the top third and 2 is the bottom 2/3rds. After cleaning your screen with the supplied cloth carefully remove the clear plastic section labeled 1 and place the side that you just removed the clear plastic from on the Kindle screen, aligning at the top. Do this without touching the newly uncovered side. Then gently pull off the the section labeled 2 and slowly lay down the remaining portion on the screen. Use the hard card to remove bubbles. (Earlier reviews mentioned a 3rd part to be removed but mine did not come that way - maybe a redesign using the protective sleeve.) After a little frustration figuring out how to apply the screen protector I'm happy with it and no bubbles have appeared thus far. I had an older Kindle that did not have a screen protector on it and the pocket on the inside of my cover rubbed an area on the screen that caused it to start blurring. Possibly with this screen protector that won't happen with this one.
I put this on based on what other reviewers had said. It was not my first screen cover to install but it was the first on my kindle. No matter what I did I still ended up with a couple of small bubbles that just won't go away. But they are small enough I didn't take the cover off and start with a new one. You don't notice them anyway once you are using the kindle.
I've had a kindle for several years, decided to up grade it. I like that it has a light so I can read even in dim or no light.
It also holds a charge for a much longer period than my old kindle. It works differently, so I still have trouble finding tools and such on it, but overall, I am very happy with my purchase.
