I waited until I used a whole box of Neuro Gum before writing my review to make sure I had a clear impression of the product. Let's start off with flavor : I really enjoyed the minty and subtle sweetness of the gum, however it does have a slight bitterness to it which most likely comes from the caffeine. The bitterness was in no way overwhelming or a deal breaker but it should be noted that it's there and most likely unavoidable. The Texture of the gum was awesome, and it stayed soft and pleasantly chewable without getting hard like many other gums. Now onto what most people care about, the effects! I've always loved the combo of L-Theanine and caffeine so I was very excited to try this. I typically take a higher dose of both ingredients orally in pill form, but I was surprised to get a similar effect with neurogum despite the lower dosages! The sublingual absorption must really be helping here. Within about a few minutes Id get a pleasant boost in both mood and energy, with a focused sense of relaxation that I found very useful for times that I both needed a pickme up and something to take the edge off - for example getting through the end of a workday. I also liked using it after lunch as a healthier alternative to a cup of coffee to help stave off that dreaded post food drowsiness and help with digestion and absorption of nutrients with the B vitamins. Overall I'd highly recommend it, and in fact, I've already gotten a few of my friends and family hooked! I hope the Neurogum folks continue on innovating with their formulas and I look forward to trying future products from them.
As a photographer, this gum came through at a time I didn't expect. On a 7 hour drive up the Cali coast, I realized how beneficial this gum actually is. Typically I chug 5-hour energies or coffee to keep me awake during a road trip. Or I snack on a bag of chips. This gum is a game changer. The act of chewing helps stimulate my brain and the caffeine content kept me awake. I had to chew about 4 pieces to start feeling more awake but it worked. And what I like about this gum is how it chews. I find that Trident and Stride fall apart in my mouth, gets all stringy. This gum has awesome flexibility to it. Taste-wise you will get used to it especially after seeing how it makes you feel on a long, long drive.
Marketing wise - the packaging ROCKS. Super positive gum. You can tell the creators put a lot of thought into the actual product and the look of it.

There is no initial "rush". When I first tried it I was expecting an initial reaction and was momentarily disappointed. Then gradually I sensed a gently growing clarity in both vision and mental outlook. There were no jitters, no increase in aggravation or nervousness just a smooth and calm feeling somewhat similar to the effect of Ritalin. One piece lasted for about four hours and there was no final "crash", just an increased awareness of how tired I really was. I was able to take a nap and awakened refreshed.
The only disappointment I experienced and that is why I give it four rather than five stars, is that it does stick to my dentures and a partial that I wear. I have, however, adjusted my chewing technique to avoid getting "all gummed up". This has not prevented me from ordering another box.
When I opened the stylish and elaborate packing these elegantly packaged discs lie in, I felt these were not going to be your ordinary aspartame/sugar-free chewing gum. I work on a lot of creative projects at all times, so I am always looking for ways to boost my energy levels. This gun made me feel more alert and focused almost immediately. Its pleasant and somewhat sweet flavor lasted for about 4 hours and assured me I would not be repulsed as I have been in the past with other so-called gluten-free gums. I have actually never heard of a gum before that contained both L-Theanine and green tea components, so I have no complaints about ingredients. Its addition combination of cold compression and being vegan-friendly make this gun one to seek out on-line or off. Definitely give this gum a chance. And, yes, it also works wonders on your breath.
The gum tastes great in a cool, durable, and innovated packaging with pull tab. I was a little skeptical, but overall I'm glad I gave it a try!
Gum Caffeine: This is what you really want to know about, right?? I wasn't sure what to expect, but seeing how it has about the same amount of caffeine as half a cup of coffee, it would take 2-3 pcs to feel a buzz. So having 1pc at a time feels like a more even flow instead of a big spike, followed by a big drop. So its probably a good thing.
Gum Taste: As soon as you put it in your mouth, it tastes like a cool mint breath mint. I was expecting it to have a coffee like taste (which would be weird for gum), but it didn't taste like coffee at all. I liked the taste and was not too sugary (Its 0g of sugar too, which I like!)
Gum Appearance: Its circular, about half an inch in diameter and quarter of an inch in height. Kind of reminds me of a large breath mint.
Packaging: Its slightly wider than some other gums, but not crazy big where it causes issues. The packaging is very fun and cool - something I'm not embarrassed to carry around. Its also very durable and innovated with a pull tab design I really liked. At first I thought it was a little gimmicky, but it did make it easier to get the gum out.
I tried both the mint and the Cinnamon flavored gum and I think I prefer the mint flavor just a little bit more... The cinnamon isn't bad at all, but I guess, its totally personal preference. Overall, I can see me buying more of this.

This gum actually worked for me quite well. I work long night shifts and have a high tolerance for caffeine. I didn't think this would do much for me on the energy front but I bought it to aid me in my quest to stop chewing tobacco. It has helped more than anything I've tried, the small burst of mental energy is actually a suitable replacement for nicotine. I also had steady energy throughout the entire shift by popping a fresh piece from time to time. I very much look forward to trying the other flavors or upcoming products.
Oh almost forgot to mention that it tastes fantastic too. Well to me at least.
This is a solid product. The makers needed to walk a line between creating an effective energy booster, and keeping the flavor pleasant (caffeine is a very bitter substance)- I think they did a very good job. It seems like the majority of the caffeine is presented at first chew, along with a wave of super strong minty flavor to cover it up,(works well!) and then the gum settles into a somewhat bitter/minty/sweet gum that is not bad. If you want more caffeine/energy, just chew more of em! One nice aspect of caffeine through gum is the speed at which it kicks in, much quicker than coffee/caffeine pill/5 hour energy.
I have had some other caffeine infused products that were just awfully bitter to the point of being inedible (or just so bad you want to swallow them right away) and this gum is NOT LIKE THOSE!
Wish I could give Neuro Gum 6 stars! That's how good it is. But watch out for other resellers, their product isn't the same as you get from PharmaPacks!
I bought this gum with the intention of replacing one or two of the cups of coffee I have each day with something that would leave my breath fresh instead of giving me nasty "coffee breath". Each piece of the gum has the caffeine of 1/2 a cup of coffee so I chewed 2 pieces and got to work, hoping for a little boost.
Maybe it's just me, but I HATE the coffee jitters. I love the boost of energy caffeine gives you, but a cup of coffee can sometimes be a bit too... raw? I'm not sure how to describe it but I can definitely say we all know how it feels. Instead of just making you feel awake and alert, you feel like you're shaking with energy that's useless for anything other than rapidly shaking your leg and making you feel slightly uncomfortable.
I'm not sure how Neuro Gum does it, I guess it has something to do with the L-Theanine or one of the other supplements they put in it, but this energy is something completely different than what you get out of a normal cup of coffee or an energy drink. Instead of feeling hyper and jittery, this gum doesn't have those side-effects.
About 20 minutes after starting to chew 2 pieces, I felt a wave of SMOOTH energy, one that let me keep studying without any jitters or the other problems from other caffeinated beverages. I originally ordered this product off PharmaPacks (the website), and this time I tried ordering it from Amazon and I see a lot more orders in the future. This stuff has legit replaced coffee for me, and I was a BIG coffee drinker. Like I said, can't recommend this product enough.
As for the taste of the gum, I tried the EnlightenMint flavor, which, from what I can tell, is a vanilla-mint flavor which is quite delicious. The first few 'chews' were a little chalky, but after about 30 seconds of chewing the gum felt like every other gum I've ever tried. So basically, this gum tastes and chews like... gum. I don't get why people were complaining about the flavor or anything else, especially when the effects of the gum are so pronounced and good.
Last note, the PharmaPacks 6 pack is the legit version, but the buy it now link on the Amazon page comes from some other company called "Jaaci" that does the order. It's the same gum itself, but for some reason it doesn't have the 6 pack packaging, which is super annoying because you just get 6 loose packs you need to find a place for rather than a nice quality box you can just put in your cabinet. It's not a super big deal, but seeing as they both sell on here for the same price, don't make the mistake I did and assume that you'll get the box that's advertised in the picture if you don't get it from PharmaPacks (though it will take you a few seconds to change who you buy it from on Amazon).
Overall, a real 5/5 product. If you're on the fence and wondering whether this stuff works, trust me, it does. And then some.
TL;DR: Product is awesome, tastes great, works better than advertised. If you want a nice box for the pack, make sure you buy off PharmaPacks and not Jaaci.

I've really enjoyed trying out the Neuro Gum! It comes in very attractive packaging in individual boxes easy for transport. First off, the gum is quality gum! Keeps its flavor for quite awhile and makes my breath fresh. I like the mint flavor. Doesn't get stale quickly like a lot of the other standard chewing gums out there.
This gum seems to give me a nice focus and perk of energy. I normally don't consume caffeine so I was a bit worried how this gum might effect me. Do not be worried though that it will make you jittery or uncomfortably energetic. It didn't effect me negatively at all. Instead, gave me the slightest shot of focus and energy.
I keep a pack with me when I travel internationally; helps me especially deal with the jetlag and time zone change.
I've tried many nootropic supplements, from Alleradd, to Alpha Brain, to OptiMind, but Neuro-Gum takes the cake. The gum format is much easier on the stomach than a pill, especially if you need it in the morning. Chewing also seems to help me focus as well, sort of like a fidget spinner effect!
There's surprisingly little caffeine in it, especially compared to energy drinks and other nootropics. 40mg is less than a coffee, giving me the ability to still enjoy my morning coffee and have a Neuro after without my head wanting to explode.
Literally the only thing I could improve about Neuro-Gum is the flavor, though the brilliant flavor name "enlighten-mint" makes it worth it. There's definitely an after taste that takes getting used to (I spit out my first gum faster than all the subsequent ones) but after the third or so it doesn't bother me at all now.
All in all, amazing product that packs the power of a nootropic with no jitters into a perfect little chewable circle! I highly recommend.
