I saw a project that recommended this yarn online. I had previous purchased another company's miniature yarn bundles which were available in a fabric store. Those were nice, but this yarn pack offers a wide variety of color, lovely packaging and the feel of the yarn while crocheting and knitting is so soft, even though it is an acrylic yarn! I didn't know what to expect, but will definitely purchase from this company again.

I'm a beginner at crocheting and these are the perfect size for a 4 row granny square. The yarn is very easy to work with, and it came with the perfect size hooks for a newbie like myself. I've glanced at the books, and they look like they are helpful.
I'm just learning to crochet. These little guys are perfect. If I were more experienced I could probably say more but, as a novice, the colors are bright and lots of them. The yarn feels good in my hand. I will definitely buy these again.
I bought these bonbons to make yarn flowers & yarn pompons. Not needing a large skein of yarn for my task made these little ones perfect. I love these tiny skeins of yarn. The colors are great, the texture is good. I didn't buy it to use so I won't be making any projects with it but it would be great for small projects such as doll shoes or mittens. They would also be perfect for edging on smaller items or for crafts. I've been knitting for nearly 60 years. I collect miniatures and this is the first time I've seen real yarn in miniature as opposed to plastic or some other medium that wouldn't allow me to use the yarn if I so choose.
I bought these to use as a gift, and it went over very well! The array of colors is darling, and this “complete” kit is great for a beginner. I didn’t preview the online lessons, so I cannot attest to their efficacy. Still, hopefully someone trying to learn is able to find many different online tutorials, or ask a friend or coworker for help.
thes sizes were smaller than I thought...but then it is value pack, love the colours. I teach swedish weaving and have a workshop on placemats, and these small balls will give the ladies great colour choice as you use very little yarn (short lengths of each color) when doing placemats. The texture is soft. Have not tired weaving with it yet... but don't see any problems.
Probably great for most purposes, and certainly a good way to bolster your stash for accent colors, or smaller cheap crafts. I wasn't expecting high quality yarn, because it's not, but I am disappointed in the colors. For my purpose anyway, these colors were much too bright and unnatural. If you are going for playful, bright colors in your project, it's good, but I wish some of them were a little deeper or more muted. It's hard to tell that in the picture, I think. Also no red! Just wanted a good saturated red, but got 2 hot pinks instead. Bummer.
this was perfect for me, brand new to crocheting. the yarn is inexpensive so practicing on it and throwing away is not a waste. since purchasing i have upgraded to expensive yarn and have made a scarf and a blanket in the works.
using this kit I was able to practice various stitches and play with different hooks. i have lots of yarn left and still use it to practice anything new.
