Great headset, sound quality is superior and I consider it comfy among the ones I've used before. It looks great, the quality itself doesnt seem cheap at all, dont be fooled by the 3.5 reviews its one of the best headsets u can get under 100.
Edit: So I've just left the room and when I came back I forgot I left the headset on the chair and sat on it, and its actually working perfectly fine, which is insane because I am around 280 pounds. Its really solid even though it feels light, the quality is great. After using it for a while though I noticed that It feels a bit weird around the ears if you use it most of the day and if the weather is hot it just irritates a bit, still a great purchase though, best headset I've ever used.
In the 10 months that I've had it, it's been very good and taken a lot of accidental cord pulling (because I like to keep the longer cord short). However, probably due to the cord pulling, I've noticed that when the mic is fully down, that it doesn't transmit any sound. So I have to keep it slightly above it's lowest resting point, which is fine because it has no problems staying there. So I would recommend utilizing it's longer cord so as to keep the risk of pulling it and damaging the wiring low. After 10 months of heavy use, the thin top coat of rubber-like film has started to peel off the top of the headset
Summary:
Sound Quality: 7/10
Mic receive quality: 8/10
Build quality: 7/10
By the time I've purchased this particular headset, I've tried three other headsets of varying brands and sizes. I've tried Turtle Beach, I've tried GameCom, and I've tried Skullcandy.
This headset in particular is simple in design, but extremely effective at what it does. It's sturdy and won't snap on a whim when you put it on. The ear cushions actually do their job and its *comfortable* to wear. And the sound quality is pretty good. GameCom was my preferred headset for audio, but this headset rivals it. As far as the Mic goes, sound quality is good enough for me, and the auto-silencing when put up is a nice feature when you have people walking in to talk.
Sound quality is much better that more expensive headsets, and I'd put it up near the $150-$200+ variants. Quality of the headset is really nice, and I like the soft coating over the plastic that gives it a nice feel. The earpieces and the headrest cushions are very comfortable and are a bit heavy as others mentioned but the cushioning on the ears and head made up for it.
The only thing I didn't like was the microphone. Sometimes when I lowered the mic it caused me to hear some static through the earphones, but others did not hear it while gaming and it did not pick up while recording. I didn't have this problem at all while the mic was up (I don't think the mic even works in the up position anyways).
I spent a while looking around for a passable gaming headset and finally stumbled into this one. Suffice to say I am quite pleased with how well this fits me comfortably for hours without really noticing the weight of it after a while as it is a touch heavier than I thought it would be but so very worth it for how perfect it fits. Mic works great as well.

Great sound profile, good over-the-ear comfort, good microphone, very solid construction, if it could be lighter and maintain all those pros, I would've given it a 5.
Works perfectly. I really like how the mute function of the headset is toggled by moving the mic handle up and down. I've had the headset for almost a year now and still no problems.
Awesome headset!, doesn't seal or feel as comfortable as my old headset ASUS ROG Gamer headset *discontinued model* but the mic boom is simple and the braided cord is a nice feature. Overall I recommend it. Also, as others have noted, the headset sits somewhat awkwardly on your head meaning if you don't wear it a certain way, it somewhat hurts jaw/cheekbone
This headset is extremely comfortable and sounds great. The only complaint I have is that the plugs aren't labeled microphone and headphone, and I have trouble with the color coding.
I've used a PC media center 5.1 sound sound system for a long time, but my situation changed and I needed a headset with good audio quality for watching movies, listening to music etc., plus playing games (Fallout). I read a review for this headset on the PC Gamer website in which they used high tech gear to test the audio quality of about 26 headsets, scoring for audio quality, comfort, mic quality and a few other criteria. Overall this set ranked right at the top in areas important to me primarily being audio quality. On other sites, I read very mixed reviews and figured those reviewers had far different criteria than me, and decided to get them anyway. I'm really glad I did. They are very comfortable, well made and the sound quality is great. They don't have some of the frills other gaming headsets have like Bluetooth, a detachable mic, cool buttons and lights but those headsets seem to prioritize bells and whistles over audio quality. This company put their money into quality sound drivers, good design choices and high quality construction. I don't really use the mic but it folds up out of the way and I don't even know it's there. A reviewer out there indicated the total volume capability is weak but I disagree, unless you want to destroy your hearing. This headset spec doesn't claim to be "surround sound", but researching the subject revealed that unless you have a number of individual speakers in the headset speaker "can" they synthesize surround sound using software anyway. Individual speaker headsets with true surround sound have a reputation for muddled sound quality. Listen to the Youtube video "Virtual Barbershop" and you'll see that stereo headsets can deliver the same surround sound quality because it's something that happens in your brain anyway. Long and short - for about $85 and change you're getting high quality audio gear that's great for gaming, too.
