When I first heard about Amazon Key I was a little hesitant to have "strangers" come in my house. However, I have since become a HUGE fan. First, they do not come into the house, they literally open door and drop in package. I live in a condo so this is great so I don't have to worry about getting packages stolen. Second, the camera is perfect for not only the KEY but also for when I"m out of town and people are in my house as well as talking to my cat through the speaker (don't judge... :) ). Third, now that Alexa is connected to my Key and Camera - I can lock my door with my Echo, check to see if it is locked AND see the front door on my Amazon Spot. I'm a true convert to this and suggest it to everyone!
I’ve had this device for about a year now, I am disabled, and ordered this on pre-sale. I had a few problems with the camera in the beginning, for example, not being able to Connect to fire TV. Slowly but surely, Amazon has worked around all the kinks, and I am very pleased with this lock. I don’t have to get up to lock and unlock the door, my deliveries are more convenient being placed inside my home, and it works great with the ring doorbell. I hope there is more integration with ring doorbell in the future. I highly recommend this for the disabled or elderly. If you have any questions I’ll be glad to answer them. Amazon customer service was great, and very patient with me in getting this working properly in the beginning.
Works fine. Don't forget to order the special Amazon Cloud Cam Replacement Power Cable, Amazon Key Edition, if you already have the Cloud Cam.
Love it with the exception we seem to have to change batteries frequently. It’s been a lifesaver so many times and puts an end to teenagers that lose house keys because they never lose their phone. The auto relock has put an end to the dog escaping because “no one” forgot to shut the door. If the door isn’t shut I get a “lock jammed” notification before we even leave the house. Wish I would have gotten the 360 swivel mount when I first purchased instead of waiting.
Easy to install and calibrate. Love the speaker in the camera. The notifications letting you know about your delivery times and how accurate they are. The video you receive at the end of the delivery and how you can even download it is another great feature. All deliveries should be done this way.

Needed to know when the dog walker came and left. Showed me he wasn’t there on time and failed to check the water in the dogs bowl. Very easy to install and will buy another for the back door. I have showed my visitors the product and they are amazed. Best tool for the house. Thank you Amazon.
Very easy to set up and work very well with all amazon shipments. Makes online shopping much safer and eliminates the hassle to think about when the delivery might happen. And never needing a house key anymore because you can open and look the house door from your cell phone is a great benefit.
This lock works well and doesn’t look weird. Any problems I’ve had have been a problem with my door and no fault of the lock in any way. The camera is easy to use and serves its purpose well. I must like it, since I got two more. I really like getting the in house delivery. The service has been professional, and I haven’t ever had a problem with the service or staff. Usually my door is only open a few seconds during delivery and they rarely even set a foot in the house.
Got it during Prime Day. Great deal. The installation was easy (other than the part where I didn't match up the correct inner screws from my existing lock to the right one initially... (if it's not easy to screw in, check to make sure you matched it correctly!)) and it works well with Amazon Key. No complaints!
The smart lock conversion kit is a nice feature. The kit comes with multiple types of locks. However mine didn’t exactly match with any of them, but i was able to make it work. I do not live in an area that allows for in home drop off of packages, but i can use the camera to watch my puppies when i am away. I wish that there were a way to record more than just a few minutes between the time the door is locked and unlocked. If i could record any length of time i could go back and see if the dogs have chewed anything or anything like that, but i know that’s not the intention of this product just wishful thinking. Another problem i have with the lock is that it jams very easily especially if it is warm outside. My house faces the sun most of the day and is also wooden, so this probably has more to do with the issue than the lock itself. Most times we must hold the door handle tight to make sure it locks. With that said though i am glad i am able to lock and unlock the door from my phone anywhere in case a family member or someone needs in my house if i am not home. It is also super convenient to be able to unlock my door before carrying in groceries and things instead of fumbling with keys.
