Installation manual could have been more detailed- like it did not come with power supply and we did not hire electrician to do this. We already have existing duct and outside vent.
We used this built in for our custom designed range. It looks fantastic and the lighting is very good! The exhaust fan works very well We cook a lot of stir fry and seared items, and the exhaust captures the smoke very well.
Product specs says the Fan rates as a Sone 1 for noise , but this is based on the lowest setting. The middle and high settings are much louder than we had expected, but the time frame we have it on is short so its worth it with the quality of the exhaust fan.
This thing is really powerful it has been a great improvement to our kitchen. We came from a microwave vent that was worthless. This is a major upgrade to that. We can grill steaks inside and it pulls out all the smoke. I built it in on my own and it looks very nice. I am worried about the longevity of the lights as they dont look replaceable but that is my only concern.
this thing will suck the skin off your chicken! no joke the high setting is loud but i like it! i flush mounted it on board! beautiful commercial look!
Just received and finished the install. So far everything is great. On high it is a little louder than I would like but if you want that much power, you have to deal with the noise. Gave 4 stars only because I had to unhook writing to switch and lights to get the trim plate off

Unit has got a good light and the noise level is good on low. The other speeds it tends to be kind of loud.

Powerful and looks good. We mounted it 48" above the cooktop surface and it still clears air and collects grease. A little louder than I'd hoped it would be. Great value
