This mount works very well for me. I used to use a magnetic mount on my vent air outlet but it did not fit in my new car anymore due to the outlet's shape. I was looking for something which could both hold and charge my iPhone and this mount does it both. The idea of using the CD slot is great as the slot is unused anyway, I stream all the music through apps anyway. Setting up the whole thing is easy from placing the metal plate on the phone to attaching the mount to the CD slot. Magnets are strong so you don’t need to worry about your phone falling off. When buying this mount just consider position of your car system display so that you phone does not end up being in front of it while using this mount.
Awesome product! Perfect utilization of the CD slot that I don’t normally use, plus there’s a latch that secures the charger once inserted into the slot. Now I don’t need to have a bulky stand on my dashboard or windshield that sometimes gets in the way of my vision!
