We switched from Tide pods to this and I was worried it wouldn't clean our clothes as well. I wanted something chemical free but that still does it's job. Both my husband and I work out often and our clothes get pretty smelly but this detergent does a great job of cleaning all of our clothes. It does leave a smell on your clothes afterwards but it's not too strong and it's pleasant. In regards to reviews about the pods not opening, I have never had a problem with this whether the wash is with cold or hot water. Also despite our clothes getting pretty dirty we have never had to use more then one pod in a wash to get them clean.

I have MCS, and most synthetic fragrances make me ill. With this stuff, i can hold it up to my face and just BREATHE it in... It actually opens up my lungs. It's just so wonderful to be able to actually savor an aroma, rather than being afraid of it.
It's a VERY strong, but wonderful scent, so my kids love it, because they were so tired of having their clothes smell musty from the closet rather than fresh and clean, because i was forced to use the scentless hypoallergenic stuff for so long.
FURTHERMORE, i never realized how much i wanted this feature of having little, pre-measured balls of detergent that i can just throw in.

I converted out cleaning products a few years ago to natural and cruelty free. At the time, I had tried a few different brands as well as types of laundry products to include pods. Grab Green Natural 3-in-1 Detergent pods has been the first product that has worked great in top load as well as front loader washers, with sewer as well as septic and the product itself works just as well if not better than the traditional detergents we used in the past.

Found this at a grocery store when we lived in the Caribbean and haven’t stopped using it since-even if it means ordering it online now that I’m back in the states! My husband works outside and this tackles the sweat like a pro-plus it feels good to know his body isn’t absorbing a bunch of “mystery” ingredients found in commercial detergents. I’ve tried to see if any of the detergents (Seventh Gen, Eco) at Whole Foods could work as well as this (just to have the convenience of grabbing detergent while at the store) and none of them compare. We just had a baby and it does a great job of cleaning her soiled clothes without leaving an over powering scent of gardenia essential oil.
I am trying to move over to using natural products. These work well and smell awesome! A lot of times all natural cleaning products do not actually get my clothing clean (assuming because no artificial, harsh ingredients are in them), but this detergent does! I have not had a problem with any of my clothes being dirty post washing. The product also dissolves easily (I have had problems before where there are clumps of powder post washing). Furthermore, the scent is pleasant, but a little strong. However, it is only strong when it is in the bag and does NOT leave your clothes smelling too strong. Overall, I would recommend as an affordable, natural laundry detergent that works!

I first got this stuff as a sample for moving into my latest apartment complex, and I loved the smell so much that I went looking for it. YOU CAN'T FIND THIS IN THE STORES! Believe me when I say, I've looked ever every store near me and NO ONE had it. Luckily Amazon has it.
CAUTION: Use ONE pod, and always use MORE water than the clothing level you select. Ie) if you're running a medium load, select large on the washer. Sometimes the powder doesn't wash completely out when equal parts laundry to equal parts water.
I've been searching for a non toxic laundry detergent pod for a long time. After doing some research I decided to go with the lavender vanilla scent, Rated B on EWG's website. Although the fragrance free was rated higher (A), I LOVE the smell of the clothes. They are super easy to use in my front loader. I am pregnant and have a baby on the way and my nesting has kicked in to wear I am washing all the clothes and organizing them getting ready. I feel this will be safe to use on my child rather than use Tide.
I have tried to go back to cheaper brands, but they just don't do as good a job getting the stink out of technical fabrics.These work much better, and leave a very pleasant, clean scent on our clothes. It's especially nice on sheets and blankets, which seem to stay fresh longer.
We have a well with water high in iron and manganese. We use a filter to get rid of these, but no softener, and we've never had a problem with the pods not dissolving. We also used these in a house with a public water supply and found they worked well there.
It's hard to find a pod that works well and isn't harmful, but these pods work well! I had found that after using these pods that my clothes smelled wonderful and my clothes were softer too. I do encourage you buy these since they are cheaper than the store brand organic pods and they aren't harmful to you or the environment. The fragrance I bough was vanilla :)
Some buyers have complained that the pod doesn’t completely dissolve upon the end of the washing cycle. We also had this problem, but I found that if you throw in the pod first before adding your clothes, it will dissolve much better. Just wait a few minutes before adding in your clothes—I sorta like to watch it disintegrate before adding my clothes in to make sure that there won’t be any surprise residue left at the end of the washing cycle.
