Looks great - the compressor has a very soft sound that is omitted, on /off - thought i had a dove in the ceiling before tracking the sound back to the fridge.
The unit is bigger than I thought. If it were a built-in unit, it of course would not look that big, but free standing it does. (Like the difference between an under-cabinet dishwasher vs a free standing unit, the free standing looks so much bigger). Anyway what do I like and not like?
TEMPERATURE ACCURACY: Pretty good, measured to within 1-2 degrees of set temperature.
SHELVES: Nice wood look, but somewhat cheaply made. There is also an issue where the shelves have a lip in the rear that "locks" the shelf in place at the rear of the shelf side rails. But with the weight of a couple bottles of wine, it is very difficult to slide the shelf out. And if you slide it out near half way, it can tip forward. So watch out and get familiar with the give and go points of moving the shelves. I think if you gently sand or chisel the edge off the back of the wood shelf, it will pop forward much easier when you pull the shelf out. You'll see what I mean.
BOTTLE CAPACITY: The capacity and more importantly the shelf spacing is based on narrow Bordeaux bottles. Wider Cabernet and other CA wine bottles are snug and need a little finesse to get in and out. Poor planning by Frigidaire. Why would they design a product that does not accommodate the most popular bottles in the region they are selling their product? It is simply a foolish pursuit of maximizing their capacity specification. Common sense did not win out here.
QUIET FACTOR: It is very quiet. Sometimes it makes an odd sound like pigeons cooing but very quietly. It is not a distraction or nuisance.
PACKAGING: The box does not adequately protect the unit from dents during shipping. I received 2 units with dents. They take them back gladly but you have to believe they're getting tired of that. A redesigned box would save them all the replacement and reshipping costs, not to mention customer aggravation.
If you have comments, you should always post them, good and bad. Otherwise the product people walk the halls of their company, high five'ing each other, saying, "don't we make a great product. No one complains. We're geniuses." No, listen to us.
The wine refrigerator arrived on time and is working well. The lower shelves are removable so you may stand up bottles of wine, too. Customer service is excellent.
Giving us exactly what we wanted and expected for a reasonable price.
I purchased this wine cooler 18 months ago. My wife and I are amateur wine enthusiasts (she will only drink white), but I will go through a bottle in 2-3 days about four times a month, and I want to have bottles of wine on hand for when we have friends over who drink a little more than us. This wine cooler is fantastic. It fits in a small space under the table of our built-in wall unit, and you can't hear it unless you intentionally go near it to listen for it. I thought I paid only about $400 for it, but I'd pay $500 now, if I new it was this reliable and perfectly suited to our needs.

This beauty is a fine piece of stainless steel and glass, and as a recent delivery, I can't hate on it too much (yet--we'll see if it stands the test of time). I do have a few gripes already, but that's what I get for staying on a lower budget. This is the rundown so far.
1. The stainless steel looks great. It arrived well packaged with no damage. Perhaps they have changed the packaging since they were having so many issues with dents. It looks like a more expensive fridge ($600 range) until you closer inspect it. Love the handle on top and the fact that it comes with a lock and two keys. The door swing can also be reversed to work in any space.
2. The wooden shelves are made of cheap wood. They seem dinky, as each piece of wood is very thin. With the door closed however, they look great and give it an expensive look. There are few wine fridges offered with wooden shelves at this price point, so you have to give it some leeway.
3. Like with all wine fridges, regardless of price, it won't hold as much as many bottles as they say. One the lower unit, the shelves aren't as deep so some of the longer Cabernet bottles won't fit. Additionally, you will have to remove a shelf to fit wide bottomed bottles such as Moscato. The shelves are removable, but the height cannot be adjusted so you will lose a shelf to these types of bottles.
4. The dual zone is a bit misleading. To have a true dual zone, you would need two separate doors with their own thermoelectric or compressor units. When you inspect the divider between the zones, you'll notice that at the front where the controls are, it doesn't seal itself up on the door--there'a a narrow gap running the width of the fridge. You're likely going to have problems keeping the temperatures accurate if they're set at different levels. Lucky for us, both reds and whites are meant to be stored at about 55 degrees, so that works out ok.
5. Some people mention nearly silent units, others heard bird noises emanating from theirs. So far, mine has a loud fan. It's louder than my GE Cafe fridge in the kitchen. It also makes a loud chirp noise intermittently. My roommate literally thought we bought a pet bird. It doesn't sound like cooing doves as others have had, but a high pitched chirp. Going to keep an eye on this over 24 hours and see if it needs to be returned or serviced.
UPDATE: After a couple weeks, the bird-like chirping has stopped, and the fridge now makes a weird wooshing noise. The fan is not particularly quiet. I wouldn't place this in a quiet room if it can be avoided.
We bought all new kitchen appliances from the local big box store, on huge sale around Thanksgiving, and we received a gift card and reward certificates (store $$) along with that purchase. We used the gift card & store credit to buy this wine refrigerator locally because so many reviewers complain about receiving dented / damaged / broken ones no matter where they buy from. So we went to the store and picked ours up. Yes, it was a bit of hassle, but much less hassle than packing up multiple fridges and shipping them back!
So now, the fridge: it looks great and ours is so quiet you can't tell it is running. We have it under the counter (quasi-"built-in"-looking) with a couple of inches around for circulation. It seems like every model of wine chiller has detractors at every price range, and this one has pretty good ratings other than from people who are annoyed about shipping damage, so we decided we would rather spend our money on wine and not the fridge. It looks very good, and the handle matches our LG appliances' handles (an added plus.) As for people who complain about the shelves, they seem fine to me and some people may be expecting a Maserati for the price of a Mazda. Come on, the shelves are fine. Also, many people complain that they cannot fit oversized bottles in this (and many other) fridges. Well, I slightly picked up a shelf and slid a Pinot noir bottle onto the shelf below it just fine. I would have to slightly raise the shelf above to slide the oversized bottle out, but so what? I do not have a broken arm, And please...champagne is to be served "well chilled" - that means store it in your regular fridge at 40 degrees! Lastly, you can see the labels if you slide the shelf out a bit. No need to pull it almost all the way out. Again, I think some detractors (not necessarily here, but if you look at other sites) are being a little silly.
This is a very nice looking, quiet, well-functioning wine fridge at the best pice you are going to find. Well, on sale anyway (how I bought mine, less than here.)
