Works well like any traditional embroidery cotton floss from a chain store like Michael's or JoAnn's. I love the colors too and the addition of some metallic threads, this pack was a lot of fun to work with.
Great variety of really pretty colors. I use them to make bracelets. The metallic ones are fantastic and very shiny. The pictures provided on the product page are accurate.

Great colors but i wish the string was precut a little since my loops turned into a knot when i was cutting the string. Overall tho it was great!
