Some people might be saying it goes as low as -20° F, because that's as low as their thermometer states. I got 4 thermometers that go lower then -20° and they all read around -35°F in this freezer. If you freeze farm raised never frozen fish at -20°F you need to freeze it for 24 hours, at -35° F it needs to be frozen for 15 hours. Don't freeze just any fish for sashimi, some fish should not be eaten raw. Texture of the fish is still silky after 15-24 hours.
Medical grade
Goes down to -40'C for storage of biological samples
Lockable
Use with a thermometer to monitor daily temperature
The spec on Amazon says it'll get down to "...-20°C (-4°F) under room-temperature conditions." And confusingly, the written specs in the box say "...-5°C." However, in a room with ambient temperature of 70°F ours got down to a whopping -21.5°F. Awesome!
This freezer works perfectly. It’s mainly used for ice packs. Hubby has burning feet that wakes him during the night. What a convenience to have it in the bedroom. It’s quiet and doesn’t take up a lot of space.
It's smaller than I thought it would be, but it certainly fits my needs. Keeps everything frozen solid.

Great unit for a start up medical practice and vaccine storage. It was the most cost effective unit I could find and I am pleased with the quality. Too bad it does not come with a suggested monitor, alarm and data logger as now required by VFC.
Perfect size for storage of meds and extra ice cream! Very nice. Plugged it in and a glass of water was frozen 2 hrs later when we checked it. Perfect additional freezer for our little condo!
Small but good enough for what we need it for (vaccines_). It plugs to a normal outlet so it was just right!
Shipped on time and works great. We keep it as an extra, general-purpose freezer in a spare room; the freezer seems quiet enough and guests who have slept in the room do not complain. It freezes food perfectly and adds freezer capacity to our household. It is lightweight so I (a guy) unplug it once a month and carry it out to defrost in the garage over a drain for a few hours. The internal area has a removable metal rack dividing the space in two. If you have a large item, you can easily remove the divider. However, the bottom area of the freezer is slightly smaller than the top due to the motor taking up some space in the bottom back. I like the lock feature on this "medical" freezer, but I do not have a real need for it, although maybe I'll be a jerk and keep the wife and kids away from my favorite ice cream!
keeps sub zero temp, just what I needed. Do not like the frost build up. Weekly scraping deals with that
