I was looking for something to protect my kindle from scratches as well as jazz it up a little. I absolutely LOVE starry night so I knew I had found my decal as soon as I laid my eyes on this. I was a little apprehensive about getting a decal at first because I am quite the perfectionist and if I can't get it to look 99% right it would annoy me and I'd have to remove it. However, I decided to give it a try and was very pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to put it on and move it around if necessary during application. I really like it on my kindle and it looks just like the pictures online. Highly recommended!
The skin was surprisingly easy to install and holds tight to my Kindle. Bought my wife one for her Kindle 2 from the Decal Girl site as the selection on Amazon was very limited for her model. Nice. 08/11 addition. Had to return the original Kindle for replacement, and was still able to use the back portion of the decal on my new one. Not sure I could have been any more careful in remving the front, and it stretched too much to re-use. My wife's decal is still going strong - no fading, strecthing or wear.
I love reading my Kindle anyway, but the Van Gogh just adds color and enhances the time reading and it is even more enjoyable....this was so easy to apply, and offers protection from any scratching that could occur...the packaging is the only complaint I have.....arrived in a large box...too much - a padded envelope would suffice.... Do get a skin of your choice for your kindle you'll love it!
Great depiction of Van Gogh's Starry Night; application wasn't too hard...I found fitting this around the Kindle's front edges was harder than around the buttons but still easy to do. Love the back cover skin; simply beautiful. I've had this for a couple of years now and there is no wear-and-tear (but I take good care of things; if you're a rough-and-tumble kind-of person, the skin may not hold up to it).
The material and color quality of this product is excellent.
Pros
It is easy to apply and reapply to get it straight. There is no sort of residue to worry about if you want to peel it off. The material is thin and feels rubbery enough to maintain a grip but is also durable and certainly won't tear under normal circumstances.
Cons
This particular print and colors going on can make it slightly harder to see the keys on the keyboard.

I bought this on a whim when purchasing my newest Kindle, but I am very glad I did! The cover looks amazing and not at all like something stuck on, which is exactly how it is applied. It took less than three minutes to apply and it was easy to reposition the decal to get it lined up perfectly. It fits so well, especially around the buttons. I plan on trying other designs in the future when I want a fresh look.
I LOVE this Decal that I bought. Starry Night is my all time favorite painting from Van Gough and I was so excited to see this being offered as a decal for my kindle. I have received SO many compliment on my kindle.
The Ease of applying this was remarkable, I usually have to have my husband do stuff like this but it was so simple, even I could do it and it took maybe 5 min to apply (if that!)
Just wish it wasnt $20 + shipping. I think $10-$15 would be a a great price
This was very easy to apply and I receive positive comments every time someone sees it. I suggest getting a screen protector as well. With protection of the screen and the Kindle, there's no need to carry it around in a case, so it just slips into my purse.
The decal looks really cool, but it can be a little tricky to get it exactly right. If you put it too close to one end, it's difficult to advance or return the page, as it gets in the way.
Other than that, I think it's great and so much better than looking at a plan back kindle!

I wanted some color on my new Kindle, and I love the Starry Night painting. The skin is easy to put on, and fits exactly. It's good quality and doesn't hold finger prints like the Kindle plastic.
I'm very pleased, but still think it is overpriced. But, if you want a fun and funky look, go for it.
