Cricut Vinyl Transfer Tape

Cricut Vinyl Transfer Tape

Cricut Vinyl Transfer Tape

Warning! Do not use with regular vinyl... it will never come off!!! This stuff is awesome!!! Works amazing for glitter vinyl, but definitely don’t use it with regular vinyl, as it’ll NEVER come off the tape.

I was very nervous about ordering this because of all the bad reviews about it sticking too much or it leaving residue on the vinyl. Being a first timer using a cricut and choosing vinyl as my first project, I ordered this after transfering the vinyl by hand. Very tedious and time consuming. I have 60 wine glasses I am customizing and this transfer tape saved my life. One piece goes a long long way. I discovered that the more you reuse the same piece, the better it works for transferring. I will definitely use this for all future vinyl projects.

Nothing compares to cricut transfer tape. I’ve tried just about every brand. Nothing works as well and as easy as the cricut brand. There is a learning curve, just like with all cricut (or an die cutting machine brand) machines/accessories/material. But once you’ve mastered your technique, you’ll see that this brand is worth the money. It’s cheaoer for the task to get done right the first time rather than spending less in other products that risk messing up your work because they don’t stick enough or transfer correctly.

TIP- RETURN YOUR USED TAPE TO LINER AND YOU CAN REUSE OVER AND OVER! Even if i forget to return it to the liner, I still get a good 3to4uses for one piece. The lines however do wear off with brandishing but still very usable! Honestly my favorite transfer tape, has guided lines to help you line up your project and doesn't leave any stickyness on your project. WARNING FOR BEGINNERS- USE THIS TAPE FOR ALL VINYL and foil EXCEPT FOR GLITTER IRON ON. I made the mistake of using strong grip vinyl tape on my first project and spent literally 8hrs trying to slowly peel it off because it was so strong that it wouldn't come off my vinyl! Then i spent hours using nail polish remover to get the stick off. A lot of people say it's expensive, but i do SO much vinyl and my first roll lasted me a good 3months(check tip about to stretch out use)Definitely worth the price to make sure your projects come out flawless!!! Heres is step by step photos of me applying a vinyl hop to my machine. SEE PICTURES- This transfer tape was used 3 times! That is why it looks a little cloudy, It wasn't returned to liner so it sat face up for over a week and still worked perfectly!

Worked great for transferring vinyl that I cut on my Cricut. I decided to give this a try since the roll seemed to be a decent size and the price was good. Before I bought this I was using Press and Seal, which also worked, but it leaves a little bit of residue that needs to be wiped off. I would say get this if the price is right. If not, try the Press and Seal method. Also, I got vinyl from amazon at a good price and it worked great.

This product works so well transferring vinyl for projects. I recently used it to make a gift for my parents 30th wedding anniversary and it came out beautifully. I am sure it would have been a complete disaster if it were not for this transfer tape. This has gridlines so you are able to lay your image or in my case letters down evenly across whatever project you are making. It took very little effort to stick the vinyl to this backing and then it went on perfectly to the glass I was applying it to. I was also able to layout my design before pressing it down and it was easily moved if a mistake was made. I would definitely recommend this product.

You NEED this when using vinyl. Didn't realize that but once I had the transfer tape it was super easy!

I've used several other brands of transfer tape and different hacks (shelf liner, etc.) and can say that this one is the best there is! It is a little more expensive, but very worth the price, in my opinion. I experience fewer rips and errors when working with vinyl with this transfer tape than any other brand out there. I hate wasting valuable and pricy vinyl when working on a project, and I feel like I waste far less due to sticking errors with Cricut's transfer tape.

There are other items that do the same thing, but this one saves so many headaches with how flawlessly it does its job!

I made the mistake of not realizing the tape can be used multiple times and wasted a good sized square. It’s a good sticky level that has never tore my paper. Once I realized it can be used multiple times, it’s a great value. Found I can use the same tape five or six times with a mixture of vinyl and card stock. Less times using for just cardstock. More times for vinyl only. Have not used on fabrics.

I have bought a few of these on Amazon. It is cheaper here than it is in the store. I love the fact that it has a grid and that it is clear so you can easily see what you were doing when applying them to your projects. Super easy to use have not had a problem transferring my vinyl to anything using this. Would highly recommend to anyone. Especially for the price
