I don't know if the manufacturers read these reviews but even though we really like the portable ironing board there are a couple of things that could be improved. We like the size, portability, and storage capability of the product. It moves easily out of the way - rollers are a lot easier than folding up the traditional board. In our utility room (where we iron) it tucks away perfectly and only occasionally needs to be folded.
The minor irritation is that the squared rear corners constantly catch the cord of the iron even with a device we have had for many years that raises the cord off the surface of the board. There is a reason that for ages the rear of the traditional board is curved. Another problem that will come up is - when the board cover inevitably becomes stained/dirty and needs to be changed there is no obvious, easy way to change it to a new one as you can with the traditional ironing board. It appears you would have to take it apart (including the hinges at the fold), find the proper material for a new cover, staple it on the board and reassemble. Not everyone will be able or want to do this. A solution to these issues (rounded rear corners and easily replaceable covers) should not increase the price and could provide additional revenue from replacement board covers.
I got this and it was already assembled! I did have to put in the wheels. I used a rubber mallet to put them in and now I have an absolutely perfect little ironing table. I threw away my old ironing board because it was to big and couldn’t be used for anything but ironing and I had to find a place to store it. This little ironing table has multiple uses and I don’t have to put it away, This ironing table can be used for a cutting table with the addition of a cutting Matt and a rotary cutter. It is perfect for cutting strips and shapes
for quilting. When I’m not sewing, I put my laptop on it and it’s perfect for that too. I’m so glad I bought it!
Bought this as a present for my Wife to use in her sewing room. It is ideal when she is ironing her quilting squares. It is certainly up to the job but you probably would not use it for a lot of ironing or large items. It is excellent for our intended use. She can fold it up when not in use and it is easily moved into position behind her chair so she can take items straight from the sewing machine to this ironing cart.
Yes, this ironing board is smaller than the normal, everyday ironing board. However, it works for me perfectly. It's just the right height to sit at and iron. I have the ironing board set up next to my sewing machine, so all I have to do is turn and press the seam I've just sewn. The storage baskets are the perfect place to store my ironing tools (like my tailor's ham, sleeve roll, iron cleaner, pressing cloth). This is a good little ironing board.
I ordered this little ironing board because I had a similar one that needed replacing. I liked this one because it was tall enough that I didn't have to bend over to iron and it fit in a small space, with its folding arms. Love the drawers for storing iron cleaner, the cups for refilling the steamer, and more. Just a great little piece.

This is perfect beside my sewing machine - storing additional supplies in the baskets and having readily accessible ironing makes piecing my quilts much easier.
I have a small laundry room so this is a perfect size ironing board that sits in there, looking pretty and not occupying too much space. It is sturdy. The slide flaps do something come off the hinge and close but nothing that would make me discourage anyone from buying this. It's compact, pretty, and neat.
I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to put together.
