I really appreciate them making the first adhesion step a 2-part process. That was very well thought out and it makes it easier to deal with on a tablet (compared to a much smaller screen on a phone). The anti-glare property works very well and overall I'm super pleased with these screen protectors. It doesn't interfere with the touch sensitivity at all from what I can tell.
I do have a small nitpick. The Kindle Fire HD 7 has a very slightly raised "lip" around the screen. Because these protectors are made to such precise tolerances, it's very difficult for a human to line it up perfectly enough. After two patient, very careful and methodical attempts: what ended up happening to me was there was a single corner with a bubble that couldn't be "pressed out" because of the "raised lip" border.
When this happened the 2nd time I simply had to take a pair of scissors and nip the offending corner off a tiny bit...bubble gone. So it wasn't the end of the world or anything. I didn't even subtract a star for this.
But, I do think it would be friendlier to the customer if the protectors were just a tiny bit undersized so that you have more easement around the border. I realize some customers would complain about that, too. So I understand them going for the full precise coverage. However, it's not necessary. Leaving a border gap of about 0.5-1mm all the way around would not put the screen at any significant risk and it would make lining things up much more forgiving for us non-robotic human installers. Thanks.
Had no problems with installation. After reading so many complaints about the cleaning cloth, I threw it away & used the microfiber cloth I already had for cleaning phone & PC screens. I suggest putting the Kindle on a counter top (flat & immobile) & get all materials ready. Then clean screen immediately before applying protector to minimize dust. Align the protector at one end of the screen & slowly relax it onto the screen from one end to the other (as opposed to lowering it over the screen like a table cloth). Unrolling it slowly prevents trapping so many bubbles. The bubbles didn't behave the way I expected. Luckily I didn't get many, but I thought they would have to be milked out by gradually working them over to the edge of the screen. Instead, they don't really move, but by rubbing back & forth with finger or cardboard, the air is dispersed under the film until it's spread so thin that no bubble is visible.
The application was pretty easy. I dont understand the frustration of some of the other reviewers. Take your time, and make sure that your screen is clean as well as your hands. As far as people complaining about the "third tab" it's there to help remove the last layer. The actual screen protector is sandwiched between two layers of protection. But before you remove # 3, work out the bubbles slowly with the little tool they give you. Just gently push them to the edge of the screen. Perhaps this is also why some people are thinking it doesn't cut the glare. You need to take of that top shiny layer once you have it down. Hope this helps for anyone thinking about getting these. I too, was not so sure after reading some of the bad reviews, but I figured it was worth a try since you get 3. I think it was a good deal for the price and I recommend giving them a try.
I'm sure this 3 pack is a cheaper choice, but silly me trying to save a penny here & there. Since I've never put one on a tablet before and there were 3 sticky tabs on each one and no instructions...the first one is on, but I don't think I was supposed to remove the third tab, until I wanted to remove it...so it left a sticky mark on top of the protector in one corner....carefully tried a few things to get the "sticky" off and was somewhat successful and now that the tablet is in a case it doesn't really show, so no big deal. All in all, I'd say it was a good purchase. I am also an Amazon Prime tester and I am going to continue after the free month trial because I am so impressed with the quick service and the movies & music!
Excellent product. The protectors fit the Kindle Fire HD 7 4th Generation perfectly. There are no directions in the package, but the installation is simple. You will have to remove the air bubbles with the air bubble remover that is included in the package. Also, each individual protector comes in a clear plastic bag. Keep the plastic bag, it fits the Kindle perfectly if you trim off an inch at the open end. After you've installed the protector, you can slide the Kindle back into the bag to avoid getting fingerprints on the protector. Highly recommended.

Description
I bought these as a safeguard for my Galaxy S5's screen. If you follow the directions it is easy to prepare the screen and apply the screen protector.
It is much thicker than my former screen protector and yet it is very sensitive to my touch or a stylus. It is everything I wanted in a screen protector.
My first time but I'm savvy in tinkering, working things out in my mind before attacking, I slapped it on in an instant, yes bubbles, some the length of the screen's edges either way but 95 percent off the screen in the black edge, the rest of no visual notice, and tab 3 in the dark edge is a continual sticky spot... With a crease in the protector attempting to dig the sticker off the screen protector... I can live with it, nothing like this can be put on with perfection though that 3rd sticker could be inoffensive, product friendly, creaseless, off the product it self
I had no real issue putting this one, as some of the reviewers have said, and I am sure that my daughters would have been better putting this on, but it went on without issue, a few bubbles here and there, but I was able to work out the worst of them.
This is the first anti-glare screen protector I have purchased, and I can tell you it makes reading in bright conditions much easier. I liked it so much that I put one of the three on my old Kindle Fire, just to cut down on the glare.
I was a little unsure about buying this product with the negative reviews. Let's face it putting on a screen protector can be very stressful. To my surprise it was the easiest and best product I've ever used. And I have other Kindle and Apple products I've had to apply screen protectors too and they have never turned out this well. I just made sure my screen was completely clean and all the bubbles were out of section one before I moved on. I will recommend this product to my friends.
I bought these to protect my Fire HD 7, especially since my son would be using the tablet. I think they were a little pricey for 2 in a pack (they were advertised as 3 in a pack, but when you go to order a message comes up that it's only 2 in a pack), but what can you do? They seem fine regarding the glare and finger smudges my son leaves behind, but at least I know the actual screen is being kept up because of them. Will I buy them again? Yes, because they do what they are meant to do.
