I like this particular model because it's only about 5" tall. My cabinets were installed slightly lower than standard so I needed a sleek, slim profile that doesn't come down too low. The description here says 1.5 sones but the box says 3.5 and the documentation says 5 sones. Anyway, it's super quite on the low setting and just okay on the highest. I installed mine as ductless so it required HPF1 charcoal filter (sold separately $15). The two halogen bulbs were included with the unit. I really like the rounded corners! This was a great buy!
Super quiet, easy to install. Vented ours to outside. Was not able to use LED bulbs although got some that fit... lower setting flickered badly. Fan is super quiet while putting out a really good volume of air. Fan is so quiet we've forgotten it was on and left it running a few times.
My son installed this ourselves and it was very easy. The thin profile is modern looking and the light dispersion is excellent. I would prefer it were LED but is looks great. I haven't used it long enough to comment on the actual effectiveness of the filtering system. I used the unvented installation.
It puts so much light out, I didn't know what I was not seeing while cooking. Like it soooo much! Fan is so quiet on low and the light is very, very bright.

The fan and lights are fine for my kitchen, but unfortunately, the only color I could get this style in was white. My stove and refrigerator are almond colored, so it doesn't match well in my kitchen.
Like the style and 5 inch height. Fan noise is acceptable even on high. Installation was routine (I’ve done several before and had the ductwork and wire positioned correctly and was ready to add blocking to the cabinet’s recessed bottom). Glad I didn’t opt for the more expensive model with two screens and led lighting - it’s for a rental anyway.
Runs quiet.
Only thing I do not like is there is nothing that hides the inner unit on each side of the middle piece
