Our supposedly high-end dishwasher broke just after its warranty expired, so I wasn't willing to shell out big bucks for another. Not to mention, if you read their reviews on the big box store sites, they all seem bad! Amazon had the best prices, so we took a chance on this one, and are glad we did. Fairly easy install, the parts we needed, we just took off the old dishwasher, and we were good to go. Yes, it doesn't dry, which is...uncommon. But, it washes the dishes and silverware just as good as any other! We just tilt the door open a bit after it beeps to signal that it's done, and the dishes dry the natural way (door doesn't fall all the open either, which is nice). Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone with a small kitchen looking for a solid budget dishwasher!
I needed an 18" dishwasher and while several manufacturers make an 18" they start at ~$600 and go up. And the job was on a limited budget so we took a chance and bought this.
Its actually made quite well. Nice heavy fabric-type insulation all around, stainless steel inside and out, nice coated racks, solid adjusting legs with lot's of range, a nice positive-feel latch. And very quiet!
On the minus side, the black plastic looks like it scratches easily and feels brittle, the controls are very basic and delicate looking, and the instructions are not clear and in some areas wrong (typical Chinese product). When we tested it we were not able to 'cancel and drain'.. There's a cancel function but to make it drain we had to shut it off and turn it back on. It immediately drains when restarted so we shut it off again before it started refilling.
So compared to other 18" dishwashers its a bargain but I don't believe it stacks up to other 24 dishwashers so I'd try my best to fit in a 24" first
I thought this unit if you months ago and wanted to post a review. It was easy to install but you need to buy a electrical cord kit. It seems to be a decent quality for the price. It does take a long time for it to wash maybe an hour and a half on regular cycle. Not a big deal to us cause we just turn it on at the endday. The end of the cycle is indicated by allowed three beeps. This is annoying. Also the fact that you have to manually turn the power off makes me wonder about its overall power consumption. A good by for the price. Would buy again.
Had it for a few months now. It does not get everything as clean as a regular unit would, don't be thinking you can stick unrinsed dirty dishes or anything stuck on in there and have it come out clean. As others have said, the cycles are long. You also have to turn it off to get it off, but I've never really noticed, I just keep it on all the time.
Yes handle is snug.. but thats good!.. its also magnetic!.. not noisy.. for the difficult situation of asmall space.. it is fabulous!.. Never heard of the brand.. Plumber put it in easily .It has been about 6 mths now and we love it!.. Looks great too.. fits more than u think..I see the review about the drying.. sometimes it drys better than others.. but its always clean.. I have had many other dishwashers and sometimes they didnt always dry to best..helps tonot overload..

What we needed at a price we could afford. Is not great at drying but not really a problem for me

The machine is quiet, well designed and works well. The only thing I don't like is that the silverware basket seems a little flimsy.
