Great case, colors not same as pictured - I bought the magenta - the picture makes it look bright pink but it looks more like purple in person. But I love the case- great quality, good price, and slim. Love how the case stays closed. Don't know how the stand works since my kindle hasn't arrived yet, but the stand on my kindle voyage works great.
This case just arrived. I don't know if it will hold up to my toddler, but we shall see. I like that there is a slap to put over the screen. I don't really care about it being able to stand up or not so that is not a big deal for me. I just care that the tablet doesn't break from my toddler dropping it on our hardwood floors. We shall see. The3 color is nice and the fit is GREAT. That I can say at the moment. Will update if the case ends up being too flimsy. I am thinking of buying another case just in case....(pun intended)
I have to say I my preference for cases will always be Amazon first. While they are almost always more expensive they always fit perfect, and hold up well to everyday use. This being said I put my 7" Fire and case to the test this morning. While walking across my soaked, water rushing across, pitch dark yard carrying Kindle, keys, etc the ground let loose underfoot and I came down onto a stone property marker. Kindle first. While the case is SERIOUSLY gouged the tablet inside is just fine. Only complaint I have now is the replacement case is not available.
This is my first tablet and I am loving it. I played around a bit on my sister's tablet but didn't quite "get" it. I bought this for a trip I recently took and I'm very happy with the battery life. It came with all kinds of extras from Amazon and is an amazing value. I like it so much, I ordered one for my hubby, too. He is not very tech savvy, but there are books available through Kindle that I wanted to share with him. He's enjoying the IHeartRadio app, too.
Love the color very bright and cheery. This case doesn't stand up well by itself. The case itself is too smooth, In my opinion it would of been better if the edges were a bit roughed up to have some traction. I have even thought about using some hot glue to the edge to give it some roughness to get it to stand up better. That's all I can think of to rough it up some. Currently I have it on some napkins to help it stand up better

Love this case. I'm the type of person who doesn't go for the case offered by the manufacturer 100% of the time, and I hemmed and hawed quite a bit before getting this one. however, I don't think the quality and design of this case can be beat. It fits perfectly, is light, and allows the kindle to morph into landscape if you wanted a 'hands free' experience. Love the color as well. We bought one for our youngest this Christmas, complete with the Kindle, but his is in a more 'manly' black.
There might indeed be a better Kindle Fire 7" (2025 release) case, but I've not come across it yet.
Fit my Fire perfectly, doesn't interfere with charging or turning it on/off. Easy to hold. I have not had an opportunity to use the stand on the case so can't tell you if it works or how it works.
Well worth the money and it's a good protector for my screen.
Your Fire will not turn off automatically when you close the cover like a Kindle case would do.
This case just arrived in my mail exactly as promised. I was worried, based on a few unfavorable reviews that it might not stand my Kindle Fire in portrait mode. Well, it works exactly as promised, I could not be more pleased at this moment. My next concern might be how long the hinged parts will last before breaking down or tearing. But at this first day stage, the case seems to be well put together that that shouldn't be a problem for quite some time.
I would prefer a thicker case myself but this thin one works every time I drop it. Doesn't break! Made of a certain hard plastic i think with a nice texture feel but I would prefer a leather one better. I wish I had spent the few extra dollars for one since this was pricy in the first place.
I didn't want to pay this much for a case, but once I tried it out, it was a keeper! There weren't many cases that would stand up in both portrait and landscape, but this one does, & that was what i was looking for. When I first opened it I didn't think it stood up very well, but as soon as I put the Fire in it, it worked perfectly. I like the feel of holding this case with the Fire in it; very solid & well protected.
